Does anyone know anything about preserving food? Ma taught me the basics of jarring vegetables but that's about as far as I know and I think I'd like to start storing some. Just in case.

	We had a lot of dried stuff when I was growing up. I mean, we had a...refrigerator I think you call it...but in a desert like where I lived, drying stuff or smoking it is pretty well necessary for long trips. (Reply to this)
