Hello. Today is Friday, September 11th 2015. Fourteen years since Here is a fact for the day. There are more living organisms on the skin of a single human being than there are human beings on the surface of the earth. Does that make you feel itchy?

There are more bacterial cells in your body than there are human ones too.

Cool! We are more bacteria than human! That's a very interesting and kinda gross fact!

Only kind of. It works cause bacterial cells are a lot smaller than ours. So by mass, we're still more human, but by numbers the bacteria win. But it is a pretty fun gross out fact, it's one of the only ones I remember from my biology class.

Oh yeah, that is a good fact. I like it. I'm using google to find out more about the sizes of cells, but it is kind of confusing.

Were you aware that a human being could swim through the aorta of a blue whale?

I have several medical text books if you'd like to borrow one sometime. Some of them are very old and it's actually quite funny what people used to think.

I'll send you directions so you don't get lost. I love above the shop and have a lab in the basement.

You've been here for many years?

Oh no. I've only been here a few months. But my house from back home came to the island as well, with everything in it.

No, not in the normal world. But this place is far from the normal world.
