Text to Tim

Hey. If you wanna wait until things cool down with your family before carrying out our plans, I'm okay with that.

Nah we can get away from the house. I broke enough stuff to keep Papa busy enough that we can have fun for a few hours.

You broke stuff?

Yeah, the TV is totally gone. But there are a few other things that just wont work, I didn't do a lot of damage to them, just things that he'll use and they wont work, but it'll probably be pretty easy to fix.

Wow. That's just amazing. And he's not mad?

Not yet. But I don't think he will be, he knows why I was doing it.

You've got a great family, man.

Yeah I know. they forget sometimes though and need to be reminded.

Families are funny like that.

It's better now than what I remember growing up with, though. Even with the fights.

You've got a lot of people that love you.

I don't know about that. But I do have a lot of people that I love.

I'm almost sure of it, Tim. You are one well loved young man.

Well I'm not gonna argue. I feel loved.

It's a very good feeling to have.

I'm sure you are too, you know.

I can think of definitely one person and maybe hopefully another. But that's it. Even just one person is enough, right?

[info]tim_dixon

I hope so. 'Specially a specific one.

(Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

[info]thomashammond
2014-05-06 06:17 am UTC (link)
Definitely feels like it could be very close to being there with a specific one, yeah.

[info]tim_dixon

No pressure 'course. The specific one is fine with it being one way for a bit.

It's just been a long time since I've been sober so I have to make sure that what I think I'm feeling I am actually feeling. If that makes sense.

[info]tim_dixon
2014-05-06 07:01 am UTC (link)
Oh yeah, totally makes sense. I mean it's a bit soon anyway.

I think it's been six weeks roughly? Since that party at the pub.

Yeah something like that.

Bit soon then, yeah. Doesn't mean it can't get there eventually, though. Right?

(Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

[info]tim_dixon
2014-05-06 06:52 pm UTC (link)
Right. There's no rush. I don't plan on going anywhere.

Neither do I. So we have plenty of time.

It helps?

(Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

[info]thomashammond
2014-05-06 09:44 pm UTC (link)
It helps a lot. I was thinking that maybe instead of trying to remember the day we met that we could just celebrate my soberversary. I didn't come up with that word.

[info]tim_dixon
2014-05-06 11:23 pm UTC (link)
Okay, I'm not good with remembering anniversaries though.

(Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

[info]thomashammond

Then we celebrate it whenever we feel like because I'm not good at it either. I can tell you exactly when my mom wore every single dress in her closet but I can't tell you when her birthday is half the time.

Birthdays are easy. Or the ones I need to know are. Mom's and Uncle Sean's is the day after Halloween, and then mine is 17 days later. Richie's is the 17th of January. Papa's is the 4th of April. Mama's is the 20th. Pops' is September 15th. Bucky's is March 10th.

The only one I don't have is yours.

I remember clothes. Important outfits. I can tell you the first time I wore a tuxedo.

My birthday is August 13th.

That'd be harder for me I don't remember clothes all that well.

Easy. A month and two days before Pops'.

Like I told my mom once. I didn't get all the gay genes but I did get the fashion one.

I don't know if I got any. I just know I like what I like, doesn't matter if it's a boy or a girl.

It's also possible to let a lot more love in if you don't limit yourself to one particular sex.
