	The bottom of Downtown? Only if we go close to the edge. There are gaps that let you look down in places, but because there's very little natural light that gets in there, you can't really see very far down. You made him lots of contacts. Oh, don't think like that, love. He is another me. We have the same name, face, genetic structure, memories, experiences... up to a point. If I'd gone to that station instead of this one, I'd be him. If he'd been the one to come here, you'd be married to him. I don't like it, but he's me. Our timeline just diverges at the point where we're brought to a station rather than how the Jakes did it.

Babe. It's okay. I'm not complaining that you don't love someone who isn't this version of me, you know? You don't need to feel guilty. And we don't need to hold his hand through everything.

Look, we'll get him some decent kit, and help him get a lab sorted out. Shock, he can do some of the more dull parts of our work if he wants to be kept busy, but we don't need, you don't need to worry about him, okay? This door'll help, he can reconnect with Gabe and Ma if he wants to, and we can leave him to it.

...hey. You want to go stay in one of the fancier hotels in town?

Okay. But I'm not a mean person, you know? I didn't believe I had it in me. The only person that had ever been able to bring it out was Rachel. And he was only trying to find a way out. It can be argued that it was fight or flight, and I kinda did both, but... that doesn't make me feel any better.
