Prayer to the Norse Gods
[OoC: Spoken in the old tongue]

[Hail to you, O Gods, whom I love and honor with all my being,
You who are wise and all-knowing, strong and merciful,
I would ask for your assistance for I find myself and my youngest in a strange land,
There is no sun to guide me, nor landmarks to show me the way,
I fear for the dark when the wolves come for I have no weapon to protect my son,
I do not know where our next meal will come from, nor where we shall lay our heads,
I beg your help, O Gods, for we are lost and afraid]
