Shape shifters. Beings that can change from one form to another.

The Stennes Shifters are people from the planet of Stennaros. I don't know any, but I understand they could alter people's perceptions to make it seem as if they changed forms.

I don't know of any shape shifters here. I'm still figuring this place out.

There was Amy, she could become a panther. I don't think she made it through the battle. Maryanne can become a big cat too.

Some of the mermaids can turn human, I think.

There were vampires that could turn bat and werewolves on the island in my time, I'm not sure if there are any here.

That is a really good point.

Is there anyone with magic that could check to make sure? Or you could take the pet to a doctor and see if they can scan it?

For what it's worth, my father was good friends with his mother. I don't think he intended you any harm.

I don't think he did either, now. But he scared me half to death when he changed in my bathroom when nobody else was home.
