Eight texts for Sarah Sully [OoC: Sent after Kaya did her tests on Lady Luck and Miguel checked all the data three times at least]
* Hey! So we don't need to get a ship. A lady called Kaya Bode was testing out her own ship after doing repairs, and I asked if I could get her to do our tests while she was at it and she said that was fine.
* She tested both her sublight engines at maximum power, and her hyperdrive (which is the thing from those old holovids called Star Wars) which allows her to access hyperspace which has to be FTL.
* In the sublight test, she traveled away from the station for an hour, then turned round and came back, so that was just over 1,000,000km in each direction. When she hit the 600,000km mark on the outward journey, her name on the contact list greyed out, and she couldn't use her phone to make contact with me any more.
* On the return journey, she hit the same mark, 600,000km from the station, and her name on the contact list was active once again.
* Her hyperdrive tests also worked, going FTL for ten minutes out from the station and then back. I couldn't contact her at all during those journeys.
* So we know the range of the phones now. And your family are somewhere in this galaxy, beyond 600,000km from the station. I know it's not a locator beacon, but it's some good news, right? Here's the data if you want to check yourself.
* [copy of Miguel's data recorded on the station, and copy of the data Kaya provided, marked to show where they match up]
