Boredom was something Chloe understood well, and it was something that - especially now - she was trying to avoid. When she was bored, she started thinking. Thinking turned into wildly extrapolating what was going on in her personal life and it led to her falling through the floor and into the vacant room below her. It wouldn’t be vacant forever, so she had to get a better control of herself. If she didn’t, Lucas might turn off her powers and that wasn’t what she wanted. She might end up falling into someone’s room that was occupied, that’d be embarrassing. What if she just ended up falling and got stuck in the ground? That wouldn’t be fun either, she might die.
Ugh.
Anyway, she was keeping busy by browsing the network, looking in the few books she found lying around for recipes and things that she could make and was actually thinking of doing some baking anyway. She missed it, and it was one of her favourite ways to de-stress.
When Amber grinned at her, she tipped her head to the side a little and grinned right back. “Thrill a minute, huh, guess I should just leave you to it then, since you’re so busy and all…”
