When he had seen Alika on the network Gage was a weird mixture between happy and dumbfounded especially as he had hoped that she would have remained free and not wound up in the delightful hellhole known as the Regiment. It made sense though, that she'd go looking, she wasn't exactly the kind of person to give up on her friends even if said friends would have preferred for her to stay out in the world free and not with her wings clipped. Gage hadn't really bonded with a lot of people since his arrival at Limbo but that was to be expected, he didn't form relationships easily and he tended to go into them with his eyes wide open with complete awareness of what he could get from it. It would be nice however to have a friend from the outside on the inside, especially a spitfire like Alika who said what she thought and didn't take crap from anyone. Of course she did have her moments where he had to rein her back in but other moments where he just sort of let her go and he watched the fireworks. He'd made it to the cafeteria in relatively short time because he had the edge of having been at Limbo longer so now he waited, perched atop a table and leaned forward with his hands clasped. Wonder if she had changed much? |
