If she'd known that thinking would be an issue for someone she'd probably have gone to her room to sit, but she'd been a little too sad to just stay there and wallow. She didn't actually think she'd be affecting anyone. "I'm sorry?" The sudden appearance of the other female took Dove a little by surprise, since she hadn't actually been paying attention to anything happening around her.
"How'd you---" She hadn't said anything about her poem thinking, or was she talking out loud? "I'm fine. It's nothing. I'm okay."
Which was a lie, because she wasn't okay in the least, but she didn't want to be a bother to anyone. It's so stupid to be so upset about something like this. She should've been able to just get over it. Putting her own pen down, Dove took a deep breath, pushing her hands through her hair. "Okay, so maybe I'm not, and that's okay too, because I'm allowed to be upset about this, it's stupid and unfair."
She didn't think it was fair that Mason and Aidan were locked down either, although in some ways she'd understand maybe if they hadn't been able to isolate powers, but they could so there was no reason why they couldn't put a block on the most dangerous or unpredictable of their powers, the same for Dove. If her concussive force was blocked but she could still use her light energy there wouldn't be the same issue.
"I'm sorry, I'm being rude." But she was also very close to crying and she hated that.
