It had taken a really long time for Penny to become comfortable in what she could do. She didn't like being the cause of people hurting. However, she did like helping people and was becoming uncomfortably fond of breaking things. "I really wish I didn't enjoy breaking things so much," she said laughing softly "But it's nice to get out there and not feel like I have to keep everything...bottled up."
"Sometimes I wonder what it would have been like if I hadn't been adopted. If maybe I'd still have ended up here or if my birth mother would have kept me safe." She leaned against him slightly before laughing again at his comments about Jesus. "I think having the ability to make wine out of water would be a power that I could really appreciate."
The situation with Tinker was really frustrating for her as well. She would love nothing more than to be able to find the missing girl and hurt the people who were no doubt hurting her. Trying to keep her emotions in check was a constant struggle for her. "We'll get her back," she said softly. "She's much stronger than she looks." Penny could feel the heat rising to her face when he mentioned fooling around. She nudged him and shook her head. "That's very sweet of you and a very nice offer but maybe we should stick to the pot."
