One day, if she was feeling particularly suicidal, Holly might suggest that she and Lucas take Bear on as a team, see how long they lasted going all out against the man who was literally half mountain, half tank. She knew Lucas had a soft spot for the guy, though, and as such, she did too. She trusted Lucas' reads on people and had gotten to know him quite well over the last few years. And honestly, there was something else that was just... off about him recently but she didn't know how to approach it. Their friendship was deeper than people gave it credit for but still, she was discomforted to think that he might consider that he couldn't trust her or didn't necessarily feel like he could share something personal with her.
She reached over and ruffled his hair as he settled after scooting over for her. "Bones heal," she agreed, "but sometimes they heal wonky and then bloody hurt like shit when it gets cold. And all that can be avoided if you suck it up and go see your healer."
Reaching over and stealing the bottle back, she lifted it to her own lips and - before taking a long pull herself - muttered, "So you've probably broken something, then."
