Lucas had no doubts that Holly might have one upped him in a fight with Bear given the chance. But it was a challenge he'd posted to himself more than anyone else. Bear could've fought anyone, he knew people lined up for a chance to get the man on the ground but to no avail. Lucas just wanted some time to unwind a little bit. The silence he was getting from his own...secret partner was becoming something that was unnerving to him. The sudden massive distance that was between he and Ava. It's not like I haven't broken any ribs before." He shifted a bit, hissing a little under his breath as he leaned back against the headboard of his bed and took another long pull from the bottle again. "Might not be the wisest ever to poke me in the side though. You might puncture my lung."
