"Is that what the cool kids are calling it these days?" He joked at the thought of being intelligent enough to have avoided a a fist fight with Bear. But he had to admit, there had to be some level of skill if he got out of the Hologym with just a limp. He knew the other agents would see it in that way as well. Or they would think that he was a super just like them and he was lying to them. Holly was one of the only people that he could really just let himself be open around when he needed to be. He wasn't sure if she knew how important it was for him to shed that skin of his that had to pretend to turn the other cheek to people who didn't deserve to be there. How it was to turn his cheek to his sister who was an agent and there was no way he could get her out of there without serious repercussions.
He might have tried to argue that he was a cold-hearted bastard. As much as he knew Hawthorne or Alice or Jade would disagree with her. She was the one out of all of them that knew how he actually was.
He shifted on his bed, trying to make himself comfortable where he was. "Everyone likes me, they just don't know it yet." He smiled as he watched her open the bottle. Right now more focused on drinking away the pain than anything else. He was a glutton for punishment it seemed otherwise he would've just gone to Avery to make it all better or Nitin to at least get some more effective medication. "No, maybe a little later. Nothing feels broken or requiring immediate attention." He winked a little before taking the offered bottle and taking a swig from the bottle.
