I HAVE RETURNED!
Alright. :3 So I am totally back from my hiatus and will slowly be working through all the posts as quickly as I possibly can. Thankfully I'm only a member of three games unlike some people I know who take part in more than can be counted on two hands. IN ANY EVENT, I thought I'd share a few pictures. :3 These are all from my camera though, so I've only picked out a few that I really really like (my camera is poo compared to my mother's).
Moi feeding the Dolphin! Probably my most exciting experience as Dolphins are my absolute favorite animals. They'd come at you with mouths open wide and it was kinda freaky and the little buggers are so spoiled, once the food is gone they leave the edge and play around and tease you, preventing anyone from touching them.
Bird of Paradise, likely the most beautiful flower I've ever seen. I think they're flowers anyways? Something like that. I want some for my own backyard!
So you get on this conveyor belt and it pulls you along through a glass tube where sharks are swimming all about you. This is one of them that I snapped with the shark directly above me - had it not swam away I would have gotten a better picture.
Fishy face. :3 I tend to make some really retarded faces when the camera is in my hands. Most of my pictures include me making gasping faces when I'd get bored. Oh! This was also the room where the center was all glass and you could walk on top and have the fishies swimming below you.
So I'm dilly dallying around taking pictures of the birds outside of this enclosure and mi madre calls me in and instantly I became the sitting place for the bidie! Another soon came but this was my favorite picture the photographer got of me when I had initially walked in.
Mini rose bush, everyone was taking too long look at something or another so I wandered off and played around with taking pictures of myself near the roses. ;3 All the flowers/plants there were absolutely HUGE. So absolutely unfair as I'd love to have such beautiful displays.
So we made the observation that flamingos are not pink when they're babies, but gray! xD; My sister was so totally amused going is that a flamingo, I didn't know they could be gray. I believe my mom chimed in with something similar.
Anoles - I think that's how you spell it. Anyways, they're little lizards that change to different hues of brown/green depending on their surroundings. They were EVERYWHERE! They so flipping fast too, it took half the day before my sister's boyfriend managed to actually catch one of the them. Initially I tried to sneak up on one at the hotel we stayed in but wasn't fast enough as they'd always hear me coming and scatter away.
Spindle Palms! They're my absolute favorite type of palm tree and there were just massive. I have a much much much smaller one on my pool deck actually. It's a shame that we don't have the weather to let it grow to the size that they were at Busch Gardens.
AAAND. That's it. :3 Unless I post a few more from New Orleans or somewhere else. Idk. My mom's camera has yet to be looked at. I definitely got to swim with jellyfish, along with seeing alligators in the wild. Overall my first family vacation was absolutely brilliant but I'm going to enjoy sleeping in my own bed now.
