While Pansy was very glad that Gwen and Adrian were together, she couldn't let it go. Adrian had brought a Weasley to the Snake Pit. Honestly, he was lucky that Gwen even took him back after a stunt like that. It was unacceptable. There was a way to conduct yourself in society and that wasn't it. What did he think he was doing? Yes, he pushed Gwen's buttons but there was more to consider than just getting the girl.

Pansy was so upset that she went to go see Adrian one day when she was sure that Gwen was elsewhere. She knocked on his door and stood with her spine straight. Pansy certainly had a lot to say.

	Adrian, who had let his fitness regime slip over Christmas and New Year, was in the gym working out when he heard the knock on the door. He stopped, grabbed a towel and his t-shirt to head to the door, tugging his shirt over his head as he opened it. "Pansy?" She was the last person he'd expected to see on his doorstep today. 	"Adrian" Pansy said by way of a greeting as she stepped inside. "I think we need to have a conversation. Gwen isn't here, is she?" Pansy was fairly sure that she wasn't but it didn't hurt to check. 	"No, she's a rehearsal," he said, closing the door behind her. He had a fairly ominous feeling about all of this. He couldn't recall the last time Pansy had been here without either Gwen or Theodore, and he could only guess what she might have to talk to him about. "Can I get you a drink?" 	"Good" Pansy replied when he said Gwen was at rehearsal. "No I am fine," thank you." Her answer was prim. She looked squarely at Adrian. "You can answer a question for me. Adrian somehow managed not to laugh. He had been expecting some lecture on how he'd better not hurt Gwen again or she'd relieve him of his bollocks or something, but he supposed he deserved it.

"Gwen had already told me I wasn't allowed to date friends," he said, innocently. "That didn't leave me a huge pool of girls to choose from. I already knew Weasley, from Quidditch, so I asked her out."

That was not the response Pansy was expecting. She narrowed her eyes. "Don't be cute Adrian. You know what I am talking about. She is a filthy traitor. The fact that you would even be seen in public with this ...person" Pansy wrinkled her nose at the word. "Is completely unacceptable. You certainly know better than to associate with such people. I don't know if you thought your little stunt was cute but what if you had ruined your reputation and then associated Gwen with it. Then what would you have done? Did you think about that at all?"

Truth be told, Adrian hadn't really thought about anything past getting Gwen back. His desperation had probably led him to do something he never would have ordinarily done, but that just made him all the more determined that no one should find out that he and Weasley has kissed, however brief the encounter had been.

"No, I didn't think of that," he said, with a sigh. "I haven't been able to think of anything except Gwen for weeks. When I thought I would never be able to win her, I guess I went a little crazy."

Adrian rolled his eyes. Ginny might be a blood traitor, but she was still pure. He could understand the mentality if he'd been dallying with a half or Mudblood, but really, he had more pride than that.

"Of course not," he said, heading towards the kitchen. He definitely needed a drink if he was going to put up with this conversation. "It worked, didn't it? Gwen realised she wanted me for herself and no one got hurt. She might be a Weasley, but they're still Purebloods. It's not like she's a Mudblood, Pansy, and it was only a drink."
