Masquerade Ball
(OOC NOTE: I posted the thread in the wrong comm. Fail. So I've copied and pasted the threads into here. Feel free to keep playing or whatever but I needed to move it so it didn't mess with the code on the main page)
Here is the promised planned events for the Masquerade, just in time for Halloween! Feel free to make this an OOC/IC thread as you wish. You're more than welcome to make your own threads too if you wish.
The main festivities of the ball will take place in the lobby of the Ministry which has been decorated accordingly; with floating Jack-o-lanterns, skeletons, hundreds of candles to add to the spooky lighting, and a band has been hired to provide the music. All that are attending are required to wear a mask to get in but no one is really enforcing that you keep the mask on at all times. Your characters are free to roam around unmasked if you would like their identity to be known.
Be warned that the punch has been unknowingly spiked with a truth potion so if your characters are asked a question after 9pm (party starts at 7pm) they have to answer honestly. It is about this time that the guards who are supposed to be guarding the elevators and other access routes to the Ministry are paid off and anyone is free to come and go as they'd like.
The party will end about 11pm when a small scuffle breaks out and the DMLE is forced to break it up.
