It had never occurred to Astoria that she would end up with company. So, when the Elf came to let her know that she had a visitor, Astoria was momentarily lost. Who would be visiting her? As far as she knew there hadn't been a letter, but then again, anything that came for her was having to go through her father. Maybe he'd set the visitation up. In that moment, no matter who it was, Astoria was just greatful to have someone on the outside interested in seeing her.

Her book was set aside, along with her cup of tea, and Astoria stood and straightened any wrinkles from her dress before she re-entered the house to meet her guest in her mother's parlor. When she entered, Astoria was momentarily stunned to see that her guest was none other than Pansy. "Pansy, so lovely to see you. I trust you had a wonderful time on your honeymoon." She didn't have any problems with Pansy, but knew that the older woman was very close with the others involved in her 'tantrum', she could only guess that was the reason Pansy was here.

Astoria was both shocked and dismayed to hear just how her actions had affected others. And she found it hard to lift her gaze to Pansy as the woman continued to talk. A hand was placed on her's and Astoria finally lifted her eyes to search Pansy's. There were so many questions she had. So many doubts.

"You are right, but then, I guess you already knew that. Can I ask you something Pansy? Let's just say in a hypothetical world, you found out that your husband was secretly shagging um... let's say the Mudblood Granger, would you be able to accept that? Accept it because this is how the world we live in works? Wouldn't you be disgusted to know that he touched her? That he laid with her?" Despite the fact that Gwen was a pureblood, it made no difference to her, Astoria was still disgusted. Then, there was Adrian's involvement in all of this as well. "I know there is more to what you said than my ability to simply accept the fact that sex is going to happen. This is just something I cannot get past. Be it because I have been protected here, or that I am too young, whatever the reason it is hard."

Pansy narrowed her eyes. "Are you saying that Draco is sleeping with a mudblood? Because if you are, that is both scandalous and dangerous. To answer your question, no it would not be acceptable but my husband would never do that because of the danger that would put us both in." Pansy leaned in. "Is that what you are trying to say, Astoria? Is Draco carrying on with with a mudblood or even a muggle?"

Astoria could not help the sarcastic little laugh that erupted from her mouth. "Honestly, it would not surprise me if he was. But, in this instance I used someone that you hate, for obvious reason ofcourse. Because, that is how I feel. Yes, I understand she is your best friend but that does not mean I have to like her. I tried once upon a time, but over the last half of a year, or however long it has been, it is obvious she had no interest in even pretending to be civil. No Pansy, as I said, Draco is shagging Gwen and Adrian. One is a person I hate, the other is just disgusting." Astoria knew she was overstepping her boundaries, but what was one more person who had a dislike for her?

"Don't you see the difference, Astoria?" Pansy snapped. "Fine you aren't fond of Gwen. I could list the women in this society that I don't like but it doesn't mean that you get to endanger the rest of us because before you were married or engaged, Draco slept with someone you didn't like. Don't you understand the difference?" She took a deep breath to compose herself. "You knew Draco was far from a virgin before you met him. You knew he'd slept with Gwen and with me for that matter before you. You know what he is like. If you can't accept who Draco is then what were you doing with him?"

"No, I don't see a difference. Maybe I am just an ignorant little girl. To young to understand that the world she was born into are full of depraved sex maniacs content on sharing everyone else's bed!" Like Pansy, she took a moment to breathe and calm herself before continuing. "I am well aware that he was with both of you. I understood that, and I am aware there were probably many others. What I did not know, is that he was in to having multiple partners at once! That is something I should have been made aware of beforehand. As there never would have been a relationship between the two of us. Especially if I had known that he had a thing for men."

"No you are behaving like a spoiled little brat" Pansy said standing. "Did you ask him, Astoria? Did you ask him anything about himself? Or have you just shut everyone out who didn't fit into your precious little world?" She leaned in to add emphasis to her next statement. Pansy's gaze was steady and her voice steely. "While I do hope that we can continue to be friends because I do like you quite a lot Astoria, if you do anything else to endanger my family or my friends, you are going to have more than daddy to answer to. Do I make myself clear?"
