Astoria closed her journal and stared at the cover for a minute or two as she mentally argued with herself over if she should go or not. It was hard to resist a plea like that. it was her fault after all. So, Stori decided to go. What harm would it do to see him and make sure that Draco was okay. She did still care for him.

Without looking in the mirror, as she did every time before then, Astoria left her flat and made sure the door was closed and locked behind her. A girl living alone could never be too careful. Sighing as she hesitated just outside her building, Astoria apparated away and soon appeared outside Draco's building.

To keep from running, Astoria knocked at the door before she lost her nerve to run.

Astoria shook her arms, trying to rid herself of Draco's hands. Apparently he sobered fast since moments ago she had to keep him from falling to the floor. "Let go of me!" She shouted at him and this time she didn't hesitate as she kicked out at his leg. "Do me a favor and forget me, and for the love of Merlin take my name off your account! I don't want anything to do with you."

"OW! Fuck!" he cursed as she kicked him, letting her go to stumble backwards. His legs hit the back of the bed, causing them to slid out from under him and he landed with a thud on the floor. The pain in his shin, and now his backside only amplified his anger. Using one hand to brace himself he pulled himself to his feet again. "Consider it done, Princess. Clearly, you think yourself high above me and my friends."

"You can have your friends, if this is what it means to love someone, I want no part of it." Astoria stalked the short distance between the two of them and reared back with her hand to smack Draco in the face. "That is for calling me a cow. Have a wonderful life you worthless prat."

As the last words escaped her mouth, Astoria turned and fled. The sound of her shoes on the stairs echoing through the flat. As she left, Astoria slammed the door with as much force as she could and apparated away before she started to cry. She knew she'd done the right thing from the very start. She only wished she'd realized it after the first time he disappointed her. It'd have saved her a lot of heartache... not to mention her reputation.

	Later, when he had sobered up, the sound of her footsteps leaving would haunt him, but with his face still stinging, and her vicious words ringing in his ears, he was glad to see the back of her.
