He knew it was urgent, because if it hadn't been, she'd simply have left him a note in the journals. Instead, she'd sent him an owl, so he found the coaching staff and explained that he needed the night off for personal reasons. Naturally, Flint wasn't impressed, giving their already interrupted training schedule, but Adrian had been working really hard since the carnival, so didn't hang around to listen to him, just grabbed his gear and Apparated to Diagon Alley. He grabbed a bottle of vodka from the Leaky, then jogged down the street to Gwen's apartment, and knocked on her door.

She looked like she'd been crying, so he dropped his bag inside the door and wrapped her up in his arms. He couldn't remember seeing her crying, well, not since he'd broken her heart all those years ago, and even then it had only been a moment as he'd walked away from her.

"Hey! What's going on?" he said, hopefully soothingly.

	"Sounds great. Can we try that Italian place again? I love their salads." Gwen said as she moved in to briefly kiss his lips before wriggling out of his arms and sliding off the counter top. 	Adrian was in the mood to indulge her every whim tonight, and carbs were good thing when one was in serious training. "Sure, thing," he said, following her, like he could do anything else, and leaving a trail of clothing behind him on the way to the bathroom. (Reply to this) (Parent)
