Michael walked up to the door of Daphne's home on a rare beautiful day. The birds were chirping, the trees were greening, and at the moment, the sky was a reverse rainbow. It was one of those days that made you forget the dark and evil things in the world. Or in Michael's case, a chance to forget that what he helped do had caused the deaths at Gringott's.

Michael was able to push those thoughts to the back of his thoughts as he knocked on the door and was greeted soon after by the woman that would one day be his wife. "Hello Beautiful." He said offering her a grin as she let him in. "These are for you." And like the other times he'd been in Daphne's company, Michael held out a bouquet of flowers for her.

There was another bouquet in his hand and he gave Daphne and impish grin. "And these are for your sister." He said as he looked around for Astoria. "Is she here yet?"

Michael could only chuckle at Daphne's words and tried to imagine what relationship didn't have the status of 'its complicated' from time to time. All he had to do was look at the relationship he and Daphne had to understand that. Up until two weeks ago, they hadn't known each other, and now they were expected to get married.

"I would have to say that I wanted to kiss you that first night when we parted ways for the evening. And last week when I came to dinner, I wanted to kiss you then too. But I didn't know if you were ready for that step. Talking is one thing, kissing brings a whole other level to a relationship." Michael said as he closed the distance between the two of them. His left hand rose to gently caress her cheek as his right arm wound around her waist to pull her in closer. With his hand against her cheek, Michael tipped her head back as his thumb brushed against her bottom lip. Before anything else could be said by either of them, he lowered his head and pressed his lips against hers. He'd meant for it to be a chaste kiss, but when his lips touched her's, Michael found himself unable to stop.

Astoria was running late. She'd spent much of the day suffering from her night of drinking until she was numb. She'd almost contacted Daphne multiple times during the day to decline the offer to go out for the evening. But, it was her curiosity to meet Mr. Michael Corner that kept her from doing so.

So, here she was, apparating from her flat to the apparition spot not far from Daphne's front door. Rushing up to the door, Astoria knocked once and let herself in. She was expected after all, and hoped she wasn't too late since she didn't want to make a bad impression on her future brother-in-law.

Astoria heard the sound of people from the kitchen and made her way into it, an apology for her tardiness already being voiced as she entered the room to find Daphne in Michael's arms. "Oh! I'm sorry!" She said as she covered her eyes and backed out of the room.

"I think I can handle it," Daphne told him with the traces of a smile on her countenance. She let her words die on her tongue as he came closer and instead focused on the soft warmth of his embrace and the smell of his cologne. All those thoughts were erased when his lips touched hers and she found herself returning that kiss with equal fervor.

At the sound of her sister though she pulled away just a bit, with a coy kind of smile. "Perfect timing sis," she joked lightly but motioned for her sister to come back into the kitchen so she could do proper introductions between the two of them.

Michael had been focused on what it was he and Daphne were doing that he hadn't realized another person had entered the room. That was, until Astoria made her presence known. Like Daphne, Michael pulled away with a grin on his face.

"Yeah, perfect timing... sis." Michael chuckled and disentangled himself from Daphne and picked up the flowers that he'd set on the counter. "Astoria, just as beautiful as your sister and in need of some spoiling this evening. These are for you. Ofcourse, it'be wise to keep them here while we go out for the evening." Michael said as he held the bouquet out to his future sister-in-law.

Astoria couldn't stop the laugh that erupted form her as she reentered the kitchen. Her fingers still covered her eyes as she teased "Everyone's fully clothed right?" which she knew they were.

"Michael Corner, you are quite the charmer." Reaching out, she took the flowers from him and brought them up to smell the sweet fragrance that emanated from them. "These are beautiful, I have the perfect place to put them when I get home." She said, offering Michael a sincere smile. "Daphne do you have a vase I can borrow for the evening?"

Daphne shot her sister a grin but motioned to the cupboard closest to her sister. "Same place I always keep them." She liked flowers so she had several vases laying around especially since it was spring and there was suddenly an over abundance of flowers.

"And when you're both ready we can head out and get on with the fun and spoiling and perhaps a little bit of dinner too while we're at it."

"Thank you." Astoria said as she moved through to the cupboard and soon had the vase filled and safe for the flowers. "Michael, I know I said this, but I want to say it again - these are beautiful." Its was then that she noticed the ones that were already in a vase where Daphne had set them. "These are beautiful too. Either you have all the luck in picking out flowers, or you know a thing or two about them. You're not a botanist are you?"

"I'm ready whenever the two of you are, do we know where we're going?"

"I am not, and I am not giving away my secrets tonight." Michael commented in regards to Astoria's questions. He brightened, giving the two of them a grin. "So the two of you didn't pick a place? Good, because I have an idea on where to take you. No, I am not telling you. Live a little, be daring, it'll be a surprise."

Michael took a moment to look at his watch before he ushered the ladies towards the door. "We should get going though"

Daphne shook her head, "Nope. Figured you had something in mind." At least it had seemed it when they had talked so she hadn't bothered. That and if not she was sure her sister would have had a favorite place to go so there really was no need for her to think of something.

"I'm ready too." She said as she followed the pair of them to the door after grabbing a jacket to wear.

"I did think of something, just in case the two of you weren't able to come up with something. Its a place I've been to once, I forget how I found it the first time around but the food was definitely something to be remembered." Michael said as he waited on the walk for Daphne to lock up behind them.

For a moment, he felt a pang of guilt and remorse when he caught sight of Astoria. She must have thought no one was looking and let her cheery facade drop. "Everyone ready? Apparition is the only way to get there, and since neither of you know where we're going, side-along okay?"

"I say we go with what you had in mind," Daphne agreed to readily knowing that Michael had good tastes so she doubted anything he came up with would be terrible. It was actually a relief not to have to think of something all the time. She liked a guy that took the initiative once in a while.

Daphne locked the door and again nodded her head. "Certainly." Again she didn't mind and it would be hard to Apparate some where she had never been before.
