Who: The Slytherin beach party group (Adrian, Astoria, Daphne, Draco, Gwen, Pansy, Theodore, Tracey and whoever else is supposed to be there?)
What: First official night in paradise. ^_^
Where: The Villa
When: Monday evening.
Status: Incomplete.

The sun was setting over the water, bringing in a breeze perfumed by the exotic flowers that grew all around the house. Astoria was busy in the kitchen setting up small snacks for everyone in the house. There were bottles of wine for the ladies, whiskey for the men, and she'd even ventured into the closest town to pick up something a little more local - Rum, flavored with coconut. It smelled good, but not being a drinker she was a little scared to try it.

Astoria picked up a slice of cheese from a platter and popped it in her mouth as she continued to set stuff out. Currently alone, she didn't know where anyone was, or just when it was that Daphne planned on showing up. She just hoped it would be soon, or she'd end up horribly disappointed.

	Draco had been listening the conversation from one of the deck chairs on the terrace, and looked over when he heard Daphne's voice. "You made it," he said, standing up and joining the other's inside. He took the bottle of scotch and poured some over ice from the bucket Astoria had laid out with the rest of the stuff, and swirled it. "Good trip?" (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

"You're welcome Adrian." She said as she took a sip of her wine. "And the two of you should get out to the beach soon. The sun's setting, I'm sure it's bound to cool off out there. The water was amazing."

Astoria grinned when Daphne came into the house and waved at her from where she'd been standing. "There you are! I was wondering when you'd be getting in. Everything safe at the shop?" Astoria had been worried about her sister all day and would have stayed to help had she felt she could have actually been a help and instead of hinder the process.

When Adrian came up to her, Gwendolyn smiled as his arm slid about her waist. She leaned against him slightly, pleased that he wasn't wearing a shirt, though just as quickly she was thinking or turning right back around and heading upstairs with him.

"That should be lovely, and I think we can drag ourselves away for a bit of sea and sand." Gwen said with a giggle as she looked up at Adrian before taking another sip from her glass. When Daphne then walked in, Gwendolyn beamed. "You're here!" She said happily. "Thank Salazar, we were so worried."

Adrian was actually really looking forward to getting down to the water. He wasn't sure if Gwen was much of a swimmer, but he'd always loved it, the ocean. It was part of the reason he loved Falmouth so much; it's proximity to the water. He loved opening his windows and letting the salty air drift through his house.

He didn't know Daphne as well as the others, but he still greeted her with a friendly hello, but mostly, his attention was on his girl.

Daphne laughed accepting both the class of wine and the greetings of her friends. "I see how it is, I have to work and you stick me in the small room." It didn't much matter to her as much as the fact that they were all there and relaxing.

"No need to worry unless there's something dangerous about broken glass and spilled potions." It had been more a pain than anything. She felt bad for the people that would be without their potions but they were here to relax not fret. "Trip was okay. What did I miss out on? Other than the amazing water and getting a little bit of color into my pale skin."

"Well, there's two rooms to choose from, but both are a little on the small side. Tracey's not here yet." Astoria said with a tinge of concern in her voice. "I didn't know if she was staying behind to help you out or not."

"Well, I don't know what the others have been doing, but as far as I know there wasn't much to miss. The water's amazing, the sand is well... amazing. And I went into town to explore a bit." Astoria shrugged and took a sip of her wine. "But with this being the first day in paradise, I think the extent of what you missed was just a couple of hours of relaxation."

	Draco cocked an eyebrow to look at Astoria. So, that's where she vanished to. He wished she'd asked for company, he'd have liked to see the town a bit, and be alone with her, of course. Maybe they'd be an opportunity for some alone time later on. "Which you should make up for now," Draco said to Daphne. "Shall we all go down and check out the water?" Following up with a similar greeting of her own, Gwen stepped back from Daphne and back into Adrian's arms. She had expected to see Tracey as well, but as Daphne didn't seem concerned, she wasn't going to either.

"Yes, let's." Gwendolyn said in agreement with Draco. She sipped her glass again. "Top up the glasses and then a stroll of the beach?" Gwen suggested glancing toward the wine bottles.

"She's coming, she was helping me with the shop. She had to stop by and get her stuff." Tracey had spent most of the day with her and as far as Daphne was aware was coming. On the other hand she had come fully prepared and had her swimsuit on already under her sundress.

"I have to say I am in complete agreement on that." She said agreeing with both Draco and Gwen. "Lead the way."

Adrian reached for the bottle, topping up the girl's glasses and grabbing another bit of cheese on a cracker, before wrapping his arm around Gwen and heading out towards the water.

It was so bright here, with non of England's usual cloud to dull the sun's rays, and he cast a charm to protect his eyes from the glare, and his skin from the heat. He wanted to go back home brown, not burned.

"Now, this is paradise," he said, once they reached the shore.

"Sorry, Princess, took a bit longer than I expected." Theodore said as he jogged into the room with everyone else. He paused as he realised that everyone was there waiting for them. If Theodore got embarrassed he would have at that moment, but instead he walked toward Pansy and immediately slid his arm around her waist, pressing a kiss to her cheek.

"Are we going somewhere?" He asked as he realised they looked as if they were leaving.
