Truth Potion Plot! @ 08:46 am

I know I have been promising this for a while so here it is! The truth potion plots. First I would just like to remind people a little about truth potions in the sense that they're not completely infallible. Yes, a character will have to answer any question truthfully in the sense of what they answer with what they perceive to be truth whether it is the actual truth or not. In 95% they will answer with the truth but this is also a viable option (which shouldn't be abused to get out of answering a question) but is an actuality in the Wizarding world. Since truth potions are fairly quick to wear off and wouldn't last all week, I am going to say that there is a culprit (someone in game if they want to volunteer) that keeps randomly adding truth potion to drinks bought in Diagon Alley. Once effected the truth potion will least a half a day and yes, characters could be effected more than once within the weeks period. This way everyone can have a chance to get in on the fun if they like. PLOT WILL END AT MIDNIGHT MAY 20TH!!YOU MUST ADD IN YOUR SUBJECT LINE OF YOUR JOURNALS OR USE THE TRUTH POTION TAG IN THREADS IF YOU WISH TO PARTICIPATE! I am asking this so players know who is effect and who isn't. I would expect people to randomly ask questions to see who is affected and who isn't, as rumors of such a mishap would spread like wildfire and people would hear about it and be curious. This is more for an OOC knowledge and to help the players know. It's not required people participate but it is a good way to get some game and personal plot points going for everyone in game. Enjoy! Just a quick plot note for everyone! Naturally there is going to be a fall out from the Gringotts episode (the goblins are truly in an uproar and are promising to fix their mistakes honestly!). A lot of high profile family's vaults have been broken into so they know they need an answer and they need to show they're doing something which is why they have spent the past day working overtime to investigate. That is until Bellatrix and Alexander (and any other DEs that want to be involved) took it upon themselves to show up at Gringotts last night and settle the score. I'm working on a Prophecy article at the moment, so you can read about it soon, but it was basically a mess. Several goblins were killed in the process. If you work at Gringotts aka Bill, Fleur and Archie you were called in in the middle of the night. It wasn't optional. Overtime was needed and people were questioned over the happenings and killings. Any Ministry officials that want to be there can say they were there and participated in the investigation and questioning. Those that have a vault that was broken into was sent apologizes and reassurance that everything is done to find a scapegoat those responsible. That's it for now until the next round of secrets come out.

THIS IS IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ:Alright guys, there are quite a few things that need to be addressed so I appreciate you taking the time to read all of it. First of all there is a plot scheduled for tomorrow so if you did not get in on the plot against the Death Eaters you can find it here and Jess is orchestrating that for us. Also as of Tuesday the TRUTH POTION PLOTS will start. If you want to be effected by the truth potion you MUST sign up here. I would just like to know who is participating and who isn't. It is easier for everyone if there is a list for reference. The next really important thing is activity. There are characters that have no posted in a month or more. That being said if that is you I ask that you post within the week or I will be removing them next Sunday. If you want to drop a character you are more than welcome to email me an official drop notice. Other than that the inactive characters will be put up for recasting. This is kind of activity related too but it is a reminder to please tag your threads when you post them. From now on anything that is not tagged will not count towards activity. It just makes my job easier when it comes to activity since the idea of having a separate comm/tags wasn't wanted. Activity does matter to the game obviously but it also helps if you want a personal plot approved for in the game. People should be both active with game and personal plot. Lastly, lets use this for everyone to tell what their characters are up to and to do some plotting! It has been a while (since opening!) that we have plotted and introduced characters in game. So this is a good chance to refresh lines and to work on some new things. Keep being awesome! Tonya

I know it has been mentioned before but I am aiming to have the truth potion plots start two weeks from now (May 7th). It will last for a few days and as always it is optional. I am even going to allow some secrets regarding the Order and the DEs slip! So if your character wants to give away a secret let me know! As for personal things about your character I am going to leave them up to your discretion unless they are game altering and then they have to be checked first. To make it easier on me please opt in or out in a comment so I can keep track of who is being affected and who isn't. May is also going to be the start of the Europe Cup for quidditch. Again opt in or out with your quidditch players. I think we have all chasers in game but I'm willing to let Ginny on the team as a seeker if all three of your characters want in. She's totally okay with that! It has been mentioned that Marcus and Ginny be co-captins, Bee what do you think? I think that's all the plot stuff. So take a moment and hit the button to add a new player and a new character! Yay! Jo brings us the always awesome Percy Weasley!

I have been thinking about it for a while now and I am going to change the way plots are done. I think I am going to do them bi-weekly instead of weekly. It is a lot to come up with every week and the little things aren't really actually benefiting the game. I think this time I am going to come up with goals for the week and characters can sign up for them and the like. It will encourage more interaction among characters and the organizations. First hit the button! It removes Bill Weasley from the game. ( Plots! )

It is a little past the half way point, so I apologize for that but as suggested here is your half way point reminder for March's activity. As stated before you are only required to have two instances of activity per month but more are encouraged. Right now you should ideally have one though you have until the end of the month when the full activity check will be conducted. So you are all aware of how the system will work here is what it will look like. I will post the following in a text box on the ACTIVITY CHECK and all you have to do is copy, paste, fill it out, and submit. Because of the nature of an activity check all comments will be screened. It's that time again, yep. It's plot time! Though this time I'm going to ask you to hit the F-button and add Laurie's Lavender to the game too! Yay! The Carnival is also only two weeks away so don't forget too much about that. Other than that all is quiet on the news front. Though I will take suggestions if you know a good place to do some advertising for the game. ( Plots for March 13th to March 20th )

It's that time again! PLOT TIME! But first there are a few other things it address. First it would be great if people could remember to tag their logs and I have even added in the necessary tags for the Owl Comm and such. Most of you already do it so it's a friendly reminder! Also the Carnival de Nuit was formally announced today! I haven't been feeling too good the past day or so, so assume there was a prophet article announcing it and all the details such as it will be held FRIDAY MARCH 29TH from 10pm to 3am the following morning. There will be attractions such as fun houses, fortune telling, shops, and all your favorite carnival foods! Everyone is invited. Look for a Mod update in the next few days for your numbers relating to injuries and what that means. I WILL bump numbers down if you do not wish your characters to get hurt on the level that was randomly assigned to them but I will not be bumping the numbers up once assigned. This is just to keep it balanced and because it's more likely that most will be a little hurt than having everyone critically injured. If you missed sign ups you can let me know and I will assign your character a number. And now to the plots! ( Plots for March 5th to March 12th )
