This should be posted from the Mod journal but lets pretend. So I was considering Carnival things and I figured it would be an idea to have a committee to help set up and decide things for the carnival. It gives a reason to toss together characters that might not interact other wise.

As a bank person Fleur has handle on the money but it is a group responsibility for the other things. Laurie has offered up Astoria and anyone else is welcome. You can comment here or on Fleur's entry that will be posted later when I get out of work to get involved.

Thanks all! <3

Lol. Either way. We can make a case for younger people too if needed. They have more time and they know better what people want as it is prob more appealing to the younger crowd as they are most likely to attend.

It's completely optional. Just trying to think of things to help mix things up a bit^^

Yeah, I totally get the interaction would be good :) I'm just not sure a committee full of under 25's makes sense, as I would have expected the carnival to be run by a company, but I'm sure some of the socialites would be quite happy to involve their kids.

Though I have been wondering if I might have a different idea of what a carnival is compared to everyone else.

Guess it all depends. I know in our town it is ran an organized by the village board. They are responsible for hiring the companies and telling them what to bring or what not. But I can see some bigger carnivals being ran solely by companies.

It doesn't necessarily have to have it was just an idea because I am out of ideas to help interactions and no one else seems to have ideas.

What type of carnival is it? because I was imagining people in a big field traipsing around with games and such. There's also stuff like the Notting Hill carnival which is more or less a procession/parade type thing with booths. I guess that's why I'm confused really, the ones here are often travelling carnivals that move from town to town.

and I wasn't saying it's a bad idea :) I just can't see mine wanting to be involved, save maybe Megan, but then she's a muggleborn and Gwen could be roped in indirectly by her mum, the rest are too busy/uninterested.
