Who: Josef Kostan and Rose Tyler
What: A tour of the office building, friendly chit-chat. Probably at least one-sided flirting.
Where: His office building, around the more business-infested part of town.
When: Backdated to around 10:00 P.M on Tuesday.
Status: In progress.

There were all kinds of scents on the air here in Colligo, especially with the wide variety of species doing all kinds of things everywhere. Josef's nose was often on over-drive out in public and so he had to start training it to take it a little easier. He was already at the building getting his office together inside and so it was really just a matter of biding his time until it was time to meet up with Rose to give her the grand tour of the place. Ah, Rose. He had her desk there too. Not much else but on it sat a vase filled with beautiful white Casablanca lilies. Their long petals stretching like arms in request of a hug.

Josef smiled as he passed them and he exited the building to wait for her outside. The weather was nice, and nighttime was sacred to him. No burn of the sun and not as big of a bustle of human-beings enticing his nose. He already had a couple of Freshies to keep his hunger at bay. So there was no feeding problem. The building was older, not crumbling but out of shape, and Josef knew he was going to have to pour quite a bit of money into it to keep it up. That was where Cassidy, hopefully, would come into play. Josef's nose picked up on her scent and he knew she was close, leaned against the half-open door was he waited for her to come into range of his eyesight.

She listened to him as he spoke about everything, her eyes occasionally looking around when he mentioned certain things about the place. It wasn't the nicest of offices, but it was nice enough. And if he said they would redecorate at some point, she was sure she could live with it for a while.

She watched him as he moved closer, pointing out where the computer would be. He was right next to her now and she took a moment to really look at him. Not too bad, and he seemed to come alive when talking about this. She could tell he was the type to be excited easily by business. She could not help the laugh when he gave her the choices. Pushing herself from the desk, she stood and walked in front of him.

"As exciting as wall paper samples sound, I don't think we're ready for that yet," she said with a cheeky smile. "So perhaps it should be your office...Sir or Josef? Which do I call you?" That cheeky smile still did not leave her face.

"Just Josef," He said with a smile, pushed the door open and flicked on the lights. Josef had already put some work into his office, his chair and desk were a little more ornate, thanks to a wonderful game of poker with some of the locals, and he had Wal-Mart quality rugs over the ickier piece of flooring, it didn't look too bad. And Lord only knew he couldn't work in anything less than at least 'pretty nice'. Picky little bloodsucker that he was he even had dark curtains already over the windows.

"Eventually all of the glass in the building will filter UV rays, we'll get the light but not the ouch factor." He said. "For now I'll need to keep hidden from said ouch. The less I'm in it the better off we all are." Moved to sit up on top of his desk to observe the room and the reception area from that point of view, patted the wood next to him for her to join him. "I won't bite, I promise."

He watched her with a soft smile, eyes gentle and curious. "I think it's about time you tell me a little, teeny thing about yourself, don't you? We can play quid pro quo, I'll share if you share. Big shares get big shares back and so on."

She looked around his room, her eyes instantly being drawn to the dark curtains. It really was the first hint that he was a vampire, either that or people might just assume he doesn't like the sunlight. She nodded as he spoke about the windows, glad that he could do something to protect himself. She didn't want him hurt, after all.

She watched him as he pushed himself onto the desk, then smiled at his invitation. She couldn't help the laugh at his comment on biting, wanting to comment on it but choosing not to. Pushing herself onto the desk next to him, she placed her hands behind her so she was leaning back a little.

"That sounds fair. So...I'm twenty two, from London originally. Was brought up on an estate by my mum, dad died with I was six months old," she said, looking at him and waiting for him to say something.

Josef listened, marked a flash of sadness in her eyes before he smiled softly and thought what to say in return. "I am 410, I was turned around your age, never married or any children..that I know of before then." And he had to smile smugly for a moment. "Always been in the business of making money any which way, live a rather solitary but enjoyable existence." And he nodded his approval at what he said, leaning back on the desk briefly. "Not a lot I can say in a few words without sounding boring, hmmm?"

He slid from the desk to a side table nearby, grabbed a decanter of scotch. "I guess I can add as a freebie, or, bonus, if you like, that before coming here I generally avoided much interaction with humans outside of a snack here and there. A little fooling around, but that seems to be a moot point here, now doesn't it? I haven't met anyone else of my kind so far." He poured a glass and paused, turned to look at her. "Where are my manners, would you care for some?"

[OOC: Sorry for the wait, work and kid have kicked my ass the last couple of days!]

She watched him as he talked, smiling a little sadly. It was a shame he never got to have that life. But then he was being smug and she couldn't help but roll her eyes. So he was that type of man before he became a vampire. She laughed as he claimed he didn't want to sound boring.

"You're not boring."

She watched him as he moved away from the desk, still talking as he did so. She raised her eyebrow when he said he only met with humans for snacks mostly, and she felt that little worry rise again. Yes he said that was not what he wanted, but it didn't stop her being slightly scared. She smiled when he asked about the scotch, nodding.

"Sure, might as well. And I guess if you told me such a thing I should tell you something. For two years I barely had any contact with humans other than for a little while. I was travelling."

How much more of that she would say she did not know. But she already knew it sounded suspicious saying she travelled and yet saw little amount of humans.

(OOC: Don't worry bout it.}
