Entry tags:peter parker, stephanie brown

Who: "Bonnie" and "Clyde" (Stephanie Brown and Peter Parker)
What: They think they're bad guys because they woke up in costume so, naturally, they're robbing a bank
Where: A Colligo bank (not the main one)
When: Night
Rating: TBD
Status: In progress

Bonnie, as she'd taken to calling herself since she'd woken up with amnesia, was pretty sure she was a bad guy. Her costume was mostly black and she definitely had a lot of weapons. And, if she wasn't a bad guy before, well, every villain needed a good origin story. She supposed memory loss worked as well as anything. She wasn't sure about Clyde, her new partner in crime. He dressed like he fell into a kindergarten's supply of paints and he was a little too adorable, in a lost puppy sort of way, to be threatening. But what kind of hero used a spider as a symbol. She was pretty sure heros used bunnies and birds. Or something. The point was, they'd decided to be villains and they were embracing that.

Which brought them to the Colligo Bank when it was closed. They could have gone when it was full of people, but that meant a lot of mess. And there was no reason to go hurting people if they didn't have to. It didn't mean she was nice, just that she was smart and didn't want any hassle. Checking her little belt of tricks, as they stood on the roof, she looked over at her partner in crime. "So," she said after a moment, "any suggestions on how we do this?" There would be alarms of course, and security, and they'd have to be careful if they didn't want the whole police department, or whichever ones weren't in a similar situation to them, on their asses.

Needless to say, Clyde felt like an idiot in the spandex costume. Really? Who the Hell would come up with something like this and if so? They needed to be shot. He was already coming up with new costume ideas because bright blue and red didn't exactly scream...anything really. Other than someone had too much free time. The costume did one thing though, which was hide the mischievous smirk that grew on Clyde's face as they stood on the roof of the bank. Well, Bonnie stood.

Clyde sort of crouched on the edge looking around. He knew something was "off" with him when he had woken up in this strange place. He also knew it wasn't normal that there were two moons in the sky or...a wasteland surrounding a city. But he didn't need to point out the obvious. Unless someone was an idiot and needed it pointed out. He had some faith in his fellow man...or caped bank robber. He knew something was off with himself when he spent the better part of the afternoon trying to unstick himself from things. He climbed up walls...literally. He figured it would make all of this a little bit easier as he squared his shoulders for a moment before pulling his mask over his head with a grin on his face.

"Well, we can always knock to see if anyone's home." He chuckled for a brief moment, flexing his fist in his costumed hand before looking over to Bonnie. "Or I can open the door for us."

If Clyde had voiced his thoughts on his costume, Bonnie would have pointed out that he was probably the one who had come up with it. Which meant he was the one who needed to be shot. And, while she was perfectly willing to do that if he really wanted her to, she'd rather have a partner for this. And a dead body would draw too much attention. Especially a dead body in bright primary colored spandex. Seriously, why had he ever thought that was a good idea?

She might not have had Clyde's sticky powers, and she was glad she hadn't tried flying to figure that out. Just because he was sort of literally part spider didn't mean she was equally batty. She figured he had the powers and she had the skills. Listening to him, she shook her head. "We need to make sure we don't trigger an alarm," she said. "Which means we need to go about this smart." She thought back to some things she'd seen on the network. She'd figured keeping an eye on those would come in handy, and now it seemed that they had.

"How do you feel about a trip through the vents?" she asked, gesturing to a rooftop entrance to the bank's ventilation system.

Hence, why he didn't voice his thoughts on his costume. Compared to Bonnie, Clyde felt a little unprofessional when it came to costuming but they weren't sharing fashion tips. They were here to rob a fucking bank. But he would put a rain check on the costume change for much later on. When he was filthy rich and ignoring everything that was going on. He figured not a lot of people had his "sticky" powers but he also figured they weren't as badass as he was. Sorry, Bonnie. You're just Batgirl.

"Well...duh." The smirk on his face wasn't visible, nor was the eye roll as he turned his head to the side. Attentive to her suggestion before giving a nod as he stepped over to the vent before opening it. He paused for a brief moment before making a grand little bow. "Ladies first. I might be dressed like a five-years-old, but I got better manners than most of them."

Bonnie's costume had it's own disadvantages. The cape for instance. Who thought a cape was practical for anything. All it had done was get in the way. But she'd removed it before coming out and she felt much more capable of getting shit done without it. As for his sticky powers, she clearly didn't need any sort of powers to get by, so she was pretty sure that put her one up on him. But she'd keep that to herself and let him feel good about his ability to make webs.

"Thank you," she said with a small smirk. She wasn't sure if he actually had manners or if he just wanted to take advantage of the view from behind, but she liked taking the lead. Slipping into the vents, she began to make her way through them, already making plans for what their next step would be once they were inside the bank. They'd have to disable the security cameras and take out any guards before they did anything else. "Think you could shoot out the cameras with your web things?" she asked him as they moved.
