Merlin's panic had faded a little in the time since Arthur had arrived and they started to talk. However, with this continuing bout of the silent treatment Merlin was finding it very difficult to keep calm. What was Arthur thinking? Clenching fists were hardly a good sign, and obviously the look made it clear that things had changed no matter how much Merlin wanted to pretend they didn't.
