WHO: Peter Hale & Stiles Stilinski
WHAT: Peter moved into Stiles's apartment during the whole 'invisible to everyone you know' plot and wants to make the most of it now that Stiles can actually see him again.
WHEN: September 21st; Afternoon
WHERE: Stiles's (& Peter's) Apartment
RATING: PG
STATUS: In Progress

Peter had moved into the apartment the second he realized that nobody he knew could see him. Stiles could hardly protest when he wouldn't even realize it until whatever had happened to them faded, so he'd just made himself comfortable in the spare bedroom and waited. And waited. And waited some more. Finally, it looked as though his presence would be revealed. Having settled himself rather comfortably on the couch, Peter had kicked his feet up onto the coffee table and pillowed his hands behind his head. If Stiles was going to realize that he was here, he might as well realize at the same time that Peter was very much at home. Sorry, boy wonder, but you're going to be stuck with him whether you like it or not.

This was a pretty nice place, really, and while it was probably exactly like all of the other apartments in the building that he could have taken without upsetting the delicate lack of roommate balance, this was just more fun. He had absolutely no interest in moving until this played itself out. Then, maybe if Stiles was really that uncomfortable with him staying there, he'd consider it.

He wasn't a completely heartless bastard, after all.

Things had been in pretty much a constant state of weird ever since Stiles had arrived in Colligo. To be fair though, things had been in pretty much a constant state of weird ever since before Stiles had arrived in Colligo, so the only thing that had really changed was the location of the weirdness. And, okay, the type of weirdness. Because most of his weirdness back home had revolved around his best friend being a werewolf and everyone else he knew either being werewolves or hunting werewolves or being haunted by werewolves or being lizard monsters who later became werewolves. And maybe it was true that when you thought a word over and over it became ridiculous, because he'd just thought the word werewolf a lot and...actually, it was probably just the fact that werewolves were such a central facet of his life that they merited thinking about that much that was ridiculous.

But most of the crazy here revolved around superheros and villains and people becoming alternate versions of themselves (which, okay, he'd been a werewolf that time, but still), and every fictional thing he'd ever fangasmed over being real and not being able to see people he knew. So it was different, but the crazy was definitely holding at a level pretty consistent with back home. So, he could handle it.

Or he thought he could until he walked into his apartment after class and saw Peter Hale sitting on his couch. Because that was a level of crazy he couldn't cope with. No sir. Werewolves? Fine. Fear toxin? Whatever? Tony Stark? Oh my god, he'd totally accept that. Peter freaking Hale making himself at home on his couch and probably shedding his crazy like fleas all over the thing? Too much.

"Nope." He said, shaking his head. "Nope. Just...nope. Not happening. I'm walking out of this room, and when I come back, you're going to be gone, because this totally isn't happening."

"What? You're going to kick me out of my own home? That's just cruel, Stiles. I've been here weeks. I've made myself comfortable. You can't just put me out on the streets," While his tone was completely and entirely melodramatic, Peter was kind of ruining the whole thing by grinning like a maniac the entire time. This really was just the first stage of the reaction. Denial was always fun, but you had to hold out of the rest of it before you could get to the meat of the situation. Kicking his feet down off of the coffee table, Peter pushed himself up and scooted down the length of the couch, patting the area that he'd just vacated for Stiles to sit down.

"I'm sure we can talk about this, come to some reasonable solution. After all, it isn't like we're sharing a bed or anything. There's two rooms. Separate spaces. We'll be fine."

Or, rather, he'd be fine. Stiles's ability to handle the situation had yet to be seen, but Peter was looking forward to observing it all the same.

"Okay...this?" Stiles snapped, feeling twitch and not in a fun 'accidentally took an extra Adderall' sort of way. "This is not your home. This is my home. I know this because I live here. I've lived here since I got to this place. You do not live here, because you weren't put here when you got here. So that means you just moved in here like a creeper when I couldn't see you. And that's not okay. Seriously. That? That is stalker behavior. You need help. And I need a restraining order. And seriously...where do you get your social cues from? Edward Cullen? No. Wait. Scratch that. That makes me...like...Bella. And that's not okay, because then you're going to start watching me sleep and abusing my car...and how do girls find that crap romantic. And also that is not our dynamic. And oh my god, will you just leave? Seriously. I am going to have a nervous breakdown. Or throw myself out a window. And then you'll feel bad."

He sat down on the couch with a huff, before realizing he'd sat down exactly where Peter had told him to. He hated him. He hated him so much. With his stupid smug face. And his stupid werewolf goatee. And his stupid...face.

Taking one of the pillows that existed solely to confuse him because why did a couch need tiny pillows...it wasn't like it needed little friends...he pressed it to his face and tried his best to smother himself. "I hate you so much," he muttered into the pillow. "And I hate my life. You're an awful, awful person and you should be ashamed of yourself."
