WHO: Connor Temple and Kristina Snow.
WHAT: Looking for his escaped roommates.
WHERE: The hallway on the sixth floor of building A.

Connor couldn't believe the lost track of those two again. This was what? The second time today. It was better than when they first arrived when the escaped three or four times a day. Are you kidding me? he thought as he ran for the door. Maybe it was just the new surroundings that were messing with his brain. He couldn't think of one person that would leave the door open especially knowing there are two little diictodons walking around. Looking down the hall he saw a little tail turn the corner. Finally he caught a break.

"Sid, Nancy get back here," he said in a sort of loud whisper. "Get back here now." Of course they weren't listening to him. They seemed to love their new surroundings. He was just hoping that they didn't decide to check out someone else's apartment.

Thankfully it wouldn't be the first time he had to explain the two diictodons roaming the halls. It wasn't like it was the first time dinosaur were in Colligo either. It always made it easier when he didn't have to think up a story.

He finally caught up to them, "How many times are we going to do this?"

Smiling she reached down and scooped up one of the animals rubbing it gently. "It hurts my head to think much about all the time traveling I have heard here." Giggling she stood up and tried to hold the wiggling creature close to her. "So how long have you been around here, I have never seen you or them before?" Leaning against the wall she kept an eye on the other creature which seemed to be excited about her holding it's friend.

ooc:not real sure how they react to things, hope it's okay for me to write for them as she hold them. Let me know if you wish I didn't :)

"I've been here almost a month already," Connor said not believing what he was saying. He couldn't believe it. He knew that he was here for a while last time but there were friends from home. This time it was only strangers. Well, he wasn't counting his dinosaur friends that Asaph brought shortly after him.

He picked up the other dinosaur. "It's this way," he said as he started walking down the hallway.

(( ooc - Nope, it sounds alright to me. Wiggling and allowing her to hold them. They're just a little heavy. She might strain a bit as they bring them back to the apartment. ))

"That is about how long I have been here." Her muscles tensed as the creature squirmed in her arms. Laughing she followed him down the hallway towards his room, coming to a halt she lowered her arms to the ground to rest but still held onto to dinosaur. "So who is this and how did they get out?" Obviously he hadn't planned on them to escape so she couldn't help but ask. Panting slightly she ran her hands over the skin watching the animal squirm beneath her touch. "Is there anyone here from your home?" She was all alone and knew that it could be a scary thing but he did have his pets that were from his planet.

Apparently that was when Asaph brought the cool people to Colligo.

"That one is," Connor spoke taking a good look at the dinosaur in her arms, "Sid." He was a tiny bit bigger than Nancy. It was a good thing that his apartment wasn't that far from where they were. It was only a few doors down once they turned the corner.

The smile slowly faded from his face. "Um no, just these guys," it made him think about Abby.

He walked over to his apartment. Shifting Nancy to one arm so he could open the door for her. Standing outside the doorway for her to go in with the male dinosaur.

"Sid you are a very bad boy for running away from home." A giggle escaped her as she tried to be serious. She couldn't help but feel good being able to just be herself without any pressure. She couldn't remember the last time she felt good without Bree or drugs. Struggling she managed to slip into the room and place the hefty dinosaur onto the floor holding him still until the door was shut.

Her smile faded as she watched his face knowing the same feeling. "If it helps I don't have anyone here, including pets.." Her gaze fell to the floor trying to think of a way for the mood to change back to playful.

Connor laughed as she scolded the little dinosaur. "If only that kept them from doing it," he said as he followed them into the apartment. He shut the door before setting down Nancy.

"It doesn't really help," he said thinking of what that would be like. "I'm sorry you're alone here." Just having pets wasn't much but at least it was something. They reminded him of the person he missed the most. His fiancée. They didn't even get any time to talk about it or pick out a date. Asaph should have given him time to set a date.

Just as the two dinosaur were on the floor Rex flew over to them. Landing on the table and chirping at the blond.

"Yea, I guess you have already tried that huh?" Releasing the dinosaur she frowned some at seeing his sad face. "It has to be better than nothing though, you must have left someone loved back home." At least with Kristina being alone it wasn't that bad because she hurt everyone she cared about back home.

Another squeal came out as the bird flew over her. Jumping back she landed on the couch as the bird chirped. "Well hello there..." Her words were still shaky but she figured if it hadn't hurt her yet it wasn't going to yet. "Um.. Who might this be?" Turning to Connor she offered a more relaxed smile hoping he was as calm about the bird as he had been with the dinosaurs.

"I think they keep looking for her," Connor said before thinking. He thought about mentioning Abby but wasn't sure what he'd say about her. There weren't words to describe their relationship. After all they had been through and were they were when Asaph brought him here. It was a complicated emotion. Until knowing it for sure it was probably best to keep it to himself. Although he might never know what the emotion was.

Oh, yes. More dinosaur. He wondered how his roommate dealt with the four of them and Connor was the worst one. "That's Rex. He's a Coelurosauravus," he said holding out his hand for the flying dinosaur. In turn it flew over to him but continued to chirp at Kristina.

Kristina winced for him, knowing the feeling of hurt. "She must be the one you left, they must love her to." It was just an assumption but being a girl she could put emotions together and have a pretty good insight to a situation. Leaning over she rubbed the dinosaur beneath her smiling at it as she watched the bird.

"How many do you have here?" Kristina thought back and remembered how she couldn't even care for her child.. Shaking her head she pushed that thought away. "Nice to meet you Rex." Carefully she stepped back as the animal kept chirping at her. "Doesn't like me?" It was a form of a question just worded short so she could speak between chirps.

Connor didn't say anything. Just looked down at the two dinosaurs playing around on the floor. "Yeah," he finally got out.

"It's just the three of them. Asaph gave them to me during that strange Christmas in July," he said remembering how surprised he was to see them. It certainly brightened his first week in Colligo. "Um, no. He's just talking to you." Or testing her to see how she reacts the chirping. "Maybe upset with you for bring those two back." As well as they got along Sid and Nancy were like the annoying, younger siblings.

Laughing Kristina offered her hand out and ran a finger over the bird wondering what it was thinking. "I was given a photo album of a time in my past I forgot. I think Asaph works in weird ways here.." Her tone was flat as she tried to hide the hurt in her words. She could understand the Bird wanting to be an only dinosaur but she also figured the bird would eventually get lonely. If dinosaurs thought like humans did, it was odd personalizing an animal.

With a tender hand Kristina gently squeezed Connor's shoulder to offer support. "I know the feeling, you don't have to talk about it if you don't want to." Even if she didn't personally know the guy she knew how it felt to be offered an ear. He was as lonely there as she was and people in general seek companionship.

A photo album would have been nice too. Connor couldn't interact with it like he could with his three friends but it would be nice to look at. Occasionally when he found time... truthfully he probably would forgot he had it.

He felt her hand on his shoulder. Slightly turning his head to look down at it, "No, it's..." He was going to say it was okay but he wasn't sure he wanted to talk about it. "So did you want something to eat?" He was sure that his roommate wouldn't mind. After all she helped get back Sid and Nancy.

Kristina could tell that he didn't want to talk much about the past, and of all people she could understand that. Bree wanted her to pry but she wasn't going to it just wasn't something she would do. It was nice to be in control for a little bit. Biting her lip she lifted her hand off his shoulder and stuck it into her pocket. Slowly she looked at the floor then back up to him. "Sure something to eat sounds nice!" Her words were cheerful as she smiled brightly up at him. "I love you dinosaurs though, they are so cute!" Carefully she reached over and rubbed the bird on the back of its neck.
