WHO: Rose and Jack
WHAT: A drink and a chat
WHEN: Just after her text
WHERE: A quiet pub in town
RATING: Possibly high-ish for swearing?
STATUS: In Progress

Rose had been feeling guilty recently and since Ianto helped her burn the jacket Jonathan had given her she had felt slightly better. A lot calmer. Like she was close to healing really. She had some time to get back to normal, her pride was wounded after all among other things, but she was starting and at least that was something. But she needed to see Jack to continue making things right. She owed him an apology at least.

She headed to the pub she told him to meet her and ordered two drinks, sitting at a table in the corner. She knew what Jack liked to drink and she had asked him here so the least she could do was buy his for him. Plus it started the apology. She took a sip of hers then began playing with her nails, hoping he wouldn't be too long.

"Yes I'm not exactly adding it to the list of good things I've done." That list was surprising long really but she always focused on the bad things. The things she shouldn't have done.

"Thank you Jack. Really." The last thing she wanted was for her best friend to want to avoid her.
