Who: Helen Magnus and James Watson
Where: Library at The Sanctuary
When: Wednesday, July 11th. Evening
What: A long overdue talk about recent events
Status: In Progress

Ever since James' accidental public post about this feelings for John, Helen had noticed that he had gone out of his way to avoid her, but then again she had been doing the same thing. Of course whenever they couldn't avoid one another they were perfectly polite, but Helen knew that this could not continue on like this if she didn't want it to escalate into something worse, which would ultimately cause problems between all of them. She still wasn't entirely sure how she felt about the idea of James and John together and not because she didn't want them to be, but because it was still such a shock to her and she supposed that part of her had always assumed that John would always be there trying to get her back. It wasn't that she couldn't, or even wouldn't, forgive him for the things that he'd done in the past, but that she was afraid. Afraid of getting hurt again. She'd spent so many years feeling this way that if she forgave him and let go of the past, she wasn't entirely sure what she would do after that.

Knowing that she was never going to figure out what to do where John was concerned if her and James continued to avoid one another, Helen headed towards the library where she knew she would find either him or Nikola, but she hoped it would be James. Luckily it was James who was in the library when she stepped inside, "Good evening, James."

"Has it been that bad with my previous selves?" Helen knew that technically she had been there before and she knew that John had been hurt by her before; not only there but at home as well and she didn't really blame him for moving on. As strange as it might be to think about. "If you were expecting me to react badly then it must have been." She recalled what James had said when she'd first arrived about him not wanting John to get hurt because she was there." Sighing, she finally moved to take a seat at the table.

James gave a non-committed shrug of his shoulders in answer to her question. "A bit. You've always been.." he didn't really want to have this conversation with her about her behavior. "It's just that he has always been deeply in love with you, and he always will be. I know you blame him for things, but they really aren't his fault. Every time you show up, it just gives him hope that he shouldn't have." Because clearly she wasn't going to ever give him what he wanted.
