Who: Remus Lupin, Sirius Black and Lily Potter (With Luke Potter)
What: Sirius is bored, Remus decides to get him out of the flat
When: Tuesday, July 10th. Early evening
Where: The park
Status: In Progress

As happy as Remus was that Sirius was back, he wasn't exactly thrilled at the idea of Sirius using his books to make a fort. None of them were particularly old books, but that didn't mean that Remus wanted them used to make a fort, which had the possibility of collapsing and ruining and pages and/or spines of the books, depending on how they landed. As he had walked home from work, Remus had devised a plan to get Sirius out of the flat for a little while and try to alleviate his boredom. Remus had called Lily as he walked home and had asked her if she would mind meeting them in the park with Luke, because he thought that Sirius might enjoy seeing them for a little bit. They had agreed on meeting in half an hour, which should give Remus plenty of time get Sirius up and out the door.

Reaching the flat, Remus went in, bracing himself for whatever mess Sirius may have left in his wake. Truth be told, Remus didn't exactly mind all that much when Sirius left things around the flat, because it reminded him that Sirius was there again and that he hadn't simply missed him so much that he'd imagined it, "Sirius, where are you?" Closing the door behind him, he walked through the living room to where there was an unmistakable fort of books, "I'm guessing this is what you'd always wanted to do with the books in the library at Hogwarts, isn't it?"

Sirius did a very good job of tossing his hair, although his feigned look of indignation didn't quite meet his eyes, which were crinkled at the edges with amusement. He could deal with teasing from his friends, after all, even if his understanding didn't always stretch out into people he didn't like too much. "Well," he scoffed, "I can tell when I'm not wanted."

And he twisted, turned, and changed into a giant black dog that bounded off to chase the pigeon that had been winding him up a few minutes ago. Ever since the whole Azkaban business, Sirius had found himself with even more of an urge to run around and chase things than he had before. And it had been one of his favourite things to do to start with. Quite frankly, it was a surprise he ever stood still at all.

Padfoot returned a moment later, giving the back of Lily's hand a quick lick before bracing his paws against Remus' hip and propping himself up on his hind legs against him, putting his face close to the baby's.

"That is being responsible in his eyes."

But when Sirius brushed them off, she rolled her eyes and laughed with another fond shake of her head. But then Padfoot was in his place and soon left their side. She was fine with that of course it wasn't like he could get into any trouble they couldn't apologise for. People would just think him a normal hyperactive dog.

"He just can't help it can he?"

Of course, that was also said fondly. She adored Sirius with everything she had and despite him annoying her from time to time she would never dislike him. She smiled at the lick, looking down at him and giving him the briefest of pets. But as he lifted himself up to come close to Luke she barely flinched. She trusted Sirius in both human and dog form not to hurt him and as her son lit up, clapping his hands and babbling in baby talk with the added giggle, she most definitely couldn't argue.
