"The witty banter and stalking method is an oldie but goodie," Buffy admitted, amused. She nodded at his loophole comment. "Fair enough," she said. Then she grinned. "You are good at it. It isn't fair, by the way."
"Smart man," she said, nodding. "Although, going there can also prevent the whole you getting into trouble thing in the first place."
Buffy looked at him a moment, putting a hand on his shoulder. "Hey," she said softly, "you alright?" Note to self. Don't mention whips. To be fair, she didn't really see the appeal of them anyway. "Exactly! Andrew is coming into his own. I'm glad for him. I think he needs something to focus on and this is a good thing for him."
"Clever," she said, nodding, "evil, but clever." She grinned and shrugged at his amusement. "No reason not to be honest. It's just a fact of life. The adrenaline rush definitely has effects."
"I have to be a little bit of a workaholic though," she said. "Someone needs to lead the girls, and I guess that someone is me. If I slack, it means more of them could die. And I don't want that."
