This place was certainly weird. Ever since Elena had shown up, she thought that every little bit of information couldn't be any weirder than the last. Every time she'd been wrong. Just walking over to the building and finding Ric's apartment had been a chore. Two moons, and a place she didn't recognize in the slightest. And now everything was different with her friends. Everything. Either they were back from the dead or had seriously done some growing up since they'd been there.

Elena had no idea how to feel about Damon and Caroline. None what so ever. So she wasn't going to think about it. Sure, she was happy for them. But a baby? The idea of Damon with a kid was actually the very scariest thing she could ever imagine. At least Caroline wasn't with Klaus. She should be happy about that right? The one thing she was grateful for was that she didn't have to look at Stefan. That was just about as odd as it could possibly be.

Ric had made Mexican, and true to her word, she had devoured it within a second. He'd given her a beer, because she'd asked nicely. She needed it. After warning him that Jere and Bonnie were on their way over, she waited in her empty room.

When she heard the knock at the door, she got up from her bed and went to go answer. "Hey," she greeted as she opened the door.

As Elena opened the door, Jeremy couldn't stop himself from releasing Bonnie's hand and wrapping Elena in a tight hug. While it had only been less than a week since she'd been sent back, Jeremy had still missed her. "I'm so glad you're back." He said, when he finally released his sister to allow her to lead them into the apartment, which was more or less exactly like their own. "And no thank, I'm good. I mean, we ate already." Reaching the living room, Jeremy took a seat on the arm of the couch, facing Elena and glanced at Bonnie, not really sure how to start this. Breaking the new had been so much easier when Bonnie's texts had gone wonky and wound up mass texted to everyone in Colligo.

Bonnie sighed as she sat down to next to Jeremy. She inhaled. Damn. This had been so much easier when she accidentally mass-texted everyone, and everyone just found out that she was pregnant that way.

Though she at least waited until Elena was sitting down.

"Okay...Elena. This..is really hard for me to say. Just so you know. I mean, yeah, I'd already told you once before, the last time you were here, but I didn't really so much tell you as I accidentally mass-texted EVERYONE by accident." Bonnie paused. She was babbling. Crap. Okay. You can do this. Deep breaths.

"I'm not going to beat around the bush here, though. You can freak out, it's okay...and I'll probably actually feel a lot better if you do." Babbling again. Inhale. Exhale. Get to the point.

"I'm pregnant, Elena."

Elena quite happily hugged her brother back, very glad to see him too. For her, he had been away for a couple of weeks. And she missed. "Well I'm really glad to be back. And I'm glad you guys are here too." Really glad. It was easier to deal with now that almost everyone she knew was here.

She let go of Jeremy and then went to sit down. Right. News time. Mass-texted everyone by accident? She made a face. "Oh man, I'm sorry." She didn't even know what the news was, but to mass-text to everyone? Yikes. Very bad.

And then there it was. Pregnant. Bonnie was pregnant. For a moment, she just blinked and stared a moment. It was like when she heard about Caroline. Just a lot of staring. "Oh my god.." was all she said for a moment, and then she looked at her brother. "You knocked up my best friend?! I'm going to be an aunt!? Like a real aunt this time, not like a oh you're my best friend so you get to be Aunt Elena? Oh man."

It was a good thing she was sitting down. "Was there something in the water where everyone's pregnant but me?" That was so weird.
