For the last week, Lexi had been keeping an eye out for Stefan whenever she left the apartment. She was less jumpy after talking to Huck and he'd able to talk some sense into her, but that didn't stop her from watching for Stefan. If anyone knew how bad Stefan could be when he was like this it was her and Damon and Lexi was the only one who had actually managed to snap him out of it on more than one occasion. The last time had been after he'd fallen off the wagon in the 1920s and she would do it again if it meant getting Stefan back. Of course she knew things probably wouldn't be the same between him and certain people, namely Elena, but any version of Stefan was better than Ripper, not giving a flying monkey's butt Stefan. Of course she wanted to give Asaph a big piece of her mind for bringing Stefan to Colligo like this, but all that was bound to do was make things worse somehow. If there was one thing Morgan Freeman enjoyed doing, it was throwing a wrench into any gears he came across.
Lexi was on her way to the Roadhouse to pick up her check and doing a bit of window shopping on the way, because really, she didn't need anymore clothes no matter how cute those leather boots would look on her. Huck had never expressed any disdain with her wardrobe, but she knew that she had more clothes than him and should probably wear some of the stuff she had before getting new stuff. She had stopped to look at a super cute pair of jeans in a store window when she caught a glimpse of a rather familiar reflection behind her. Well it was only a matter of time before her and Stefan ran into each other and really, sooner was better than later in her opinion. Turning away from the window, she stared straight across at where Stefan was, practically challenging him to join her.
