He was sitting in the living room, anxiously watching the door. Jack's call that the spell was apparently over had woken him up, and he was glad that Alice had been able to return to Jasper. He was worried about how Jack was doing, knowing that Jack hadn't been nearly as lucky as he had in the choice of partners. He knew that Jack hadn't been sleeping well, if at all. And then there were all the memories that being around Ms. Saxon triggered...

They made their way to the bathroom.

For a moment, he worried that Rose might've been home to overhear him breaking down like that, but then he reconsidered why he should be worried if she was. He spoke up to help explain in case he'd frowned over that. "I told Rose what happened to me. No specifics, of course. But she insisted I had to stop bottling up, so..."

He kept his arms wrapped around Jack as they made their way down the hall. As he switched on the bathroom light, he caught sight of Jack's expression in the mirror, and worried what would put that look on his face when he was trying to get Jack relaxed. He nodded with the explanation. "I'm very proud of you, cariad, being able to tell her. It is good for you to talk, when you feel ready to."
