Who: Justin Taylor, Ariadne and Eames
Where: The Dream Team's House
When: Thursday, December 1st. Late Afternoon
What: Justin is accused of having an affair, but with who?
Ratings: PG-13 for language
Status: In Progress

Ever since Arthur had gone missing and Ariadne had asked him to come over, Justin had been over at the Dream Team's house and now that Arthur had been found, he was even more inclined to stay and help straighten up and cook and do whatever else he could so that Ariadne and Eames could take care of Arthur without having to worry about anything else. He knew that were the roles reversed and Brian was there and something had happened to him, he'd he so out of his mind with worry that he'd probably forget to eat and let everything go to hell without someone there to remind him and help him, so he felt that he had to be that person for Eames and Ariadne right now and so far neither of them had asked him to go home yet, so he was going to stay as long as he was needed.

Putting away the last of the dishes from dinner, which he'd made, he made sure the leftovers had all been put away and cleaned each surface he'd used, including the table, before leaving the kitchen and heading towards the living room.

Justin had always hated seeing his friends worried or depressed and Ariadne was no exception. Stepping further into the room, Justin sat down on the coffee table across from where Ariadne was laying, "It's not a problem, Ariadne. I'm happy to help. You guys have been my closest friends here and I honestly can't think of anywhere else I'd rather be right now then helping you guys." Over the last few days Justin had often found himself wondering if this was how everyone had felt for the two weeks that he'd been in a coma and the rehabilitation that had followed his bashing. Sure, his mother had told him how worried everyone had been and he knew Brian had secretly been at the hospital everyday, but no one really liked talking too in detail about that time.

Seeing that Justin wasn't going to leave, Ariadne pushed herself up to a sitting position, her knees bumping against his. It was funny to think that they were the same age; she often found herself thinking of him as almost a younger brother, even though as an only child Ariadne had no idea what that was actually like.

"Still, though. You didn't have to be here, but I don't think we'd have managed the past few days without you." She yawned, rubbing her eyes and shaking herself irritably. Why was she so tired when she hadn't been doing anything at all? "At least we're getting some use out of the spare bedrooms."

Once Ariadne was sat up, Justin reached over and placed a hand on her knee comfortingly, "You guys have enough to worry about right now without having to remember whether or not you took the dog out or cleaning or any of that, so I'm happy to help." Ariadne sometimes reminded Justin of Daphne and he found that comforting, because not a day went by that he didn't still miss his best friend. "I think you'd have to use this place as a hotel to get use out of all of them." He joked, a small smirk crossing his lips.

Ariadne gave him a brief smile that didn't quite reach her eyes. "And that's not counting the library or the art room," she added. The house was slightly ridiculous. But she loved it. It was a home, one that she shared with the two people she loved most - and one of them was currently sitting upstairs and had no idea who she was. The thought made her eyes fill with tears, and Ariadne pitched forward slightly, resting her head on Justin's shoulder. She knew he'd let her just take a moment of comfort if she needed it. And right now? She really, really did.

"You think this is big though, you should have seen the house my boyfriend back home bought," The Dream Team's house reminded Justin of the house that Brian had bought when he'd asked him to marry him except their house didn't have a pool or stables or a tennis court. When Justin thought about that house had been ridiculous, but it was exactly the kind of house that Brian would buy.

When Ariadne's eyes welled up and she leaned forward, Justin didn't waist any time in wrapping his arms around her, one hand rubbing her back comfortingly, "It's gonna be ok, Ariadne. He's going to get his memory back." He knew that there was no guarantee that Arthur would get his memory back, but if he could survive brain damage from getting hit in the head with a baseball bat then Arthur could get his memory back.
