WHO: River Song Melody Pond, the Master, and Rose Tyler
WHAT: Melody and the Master decide to have some fun. Be afraid. Be very afraid.
WHEN: Fifteen minutes after this.
WHERE: The Grand Library → ??
RATING: TBD
STATUS: In Progress
WARNINGS: May contain somewhat graphic descriptions of various levels of torture, language, and other things that can be squick-worthy and are not for the faint of heart. You've been warned.

Boring. That was the only thought that Melody could properly entertain as she waited on the steps of the library for the man from the network to arrive. This place was positively, absolutely, dreadfully boring. Oh, sure, it seemed interesting enough to start with. Strange, new planet filled with people who really had no idea who she was or what she was capable of doing. A fresh start, so to speak. And there was the added bonus that the Doctor was apparently very much alive here, so at least she could occupy a bit of her time killing him again. However none of that was happening now. No, right now she was simply standing on the steps of a library and waiting.

Melody hated waiting. She really and truly did. It wasn't fun. It wasn't exciting. It wasn't at all stimulating by any stretch of the imagination. Yet for reasons she couldn't quite identify at the moment - or perhaps simply couldn't be bothered to think about - she was doing precisely that. But only for another two minutes. Then, the fifteen minute mark was up and she was going to seek out some fun without the man who had volunteered to participate with her. And, of course, she was going to shoot him for daring to stand her up, but that was really a given.

Not wanting to sour her mood in case he did arrive in the next two minutes, Melody purposefully made herself think not of what she'd do if her plans fell through but rather how grand the plans were going to be when they took place. It had been quite some time since she'd practice controlled violence on someone. Most of the time she really was a shoot first and to hell with the questions later sort of gal. Yet more and more she had found herself growing listless, yearning for something that would pose a bit of a challenge for her. With the Doctor dead and gone, however, there simply wasn't much that could manage it.

Until now. Now, she had the opportunity to have a bit of fun with others. It had just better live up to her expectations, she decided as the two minutes counted down until just one minute remained before the deadline. Otherwise, there was going to be hell to pay for everyone involved and anyone else unlucky enough to be caught in the middle of it.

"I suppose I should be flattered," The Master said in response to Rose's question, a hint of amusement in his tone as he spared a glance over at River, "that you have that much faith in my abilities to think that I could be responsible for this. But, then again, what other boogeymen do you really have to fall back on in this situation?" The Master asked, a wicked grin spreading across his features as he turned his attention to this River, his mind ticking quietly over potential locations before settling on the most obvious and yet the most available.

"The Warehouse District has plenty of empty buildings," The Master said. "I'm sure we could find an abandoned slaughterhouse with the greatest of ease where we'll have plenty of makeshift tools at hand in case we get bored with doing the same thing over and over," He said with an amount of sheer delight in his eyes that would have set the blood of any person with even so much as half of a conscience running cold. "And the meat hooks would make lovely places for storage once we're done with one."

Granted, it might give them plenty of room to scream and fuss without being heard, but it would also be the first place anyone would check should a large number of people start going missing. Then again. That might not be entirely a bad thing. It would give him plenty of time to decide exactly how and when to get into this River's way should the Doctor decide to throw himself in and put a stop to this.
