Who: Peter Pevensie, Edmund Pevensie and Maximum Ride. Possibly some nightmares as well?
What: Hiding out from the White Witch
Where: Peter's Flat
When: Friday, Oct 14th. Evening
Status: In progress.

It had been three days since Peter and Max had rescued Ed from the High School which Jadis had been circling in her sleigh as well as that ridiculous get up she'd worn during the first battle in Narnia, and since then the three of them had remained mainly in Peter's flat despite the fact that Ed's was only two doors up the hall. When Peter had first arrived at the high school, which he hadn't attended that day because he'd been at Melinda's, he hadn't seen a clear way to get into the school without Jadis seeing him, which would then have led her straight to Edmund, which Peter wasn't going to allow. So, after speaking to Ed, his younger brother had mentioned calling his friend Max to help. Peter knew that his brother had a friend named Max, but what he didn't know was that Max was a girl. A girl with wings.

When Max had arrived, she immediately went to work at distracting Jadis, flying around in a circle above her head while throwing whatever she could find down at the White Witch so that Peter was able to get into the school and successfully get Edmund out. Once she got the signal that both boys were out of the school, Max met up with them a few blocks away on the other side of the school and had returned with them to Peter's flat where they'd been ever since. Max had thought about asking Dr. Magnus if she could bring them to the Sanctuary while this witch was in town, but she had plenty to deal with at the moment with that woman, who was after Ashley, lurking about so instead she'd opted to stay with the boys and it almost reminded her of being on the run with Fang and Iggy; except neither of them were blind, had wings or sent her the most mixed signals on the planet.

Peter, for his part, was glad that Charlie had come back when he did, because it meant that the older man would be able to take care of the stables while he took care of Edmund and made sure that Jadis didn't get her hands on him again.

"As if I didn't already know that," Pete said as he turned back towards the couch where Ed and Max had been sitting for a little while now, "But unless you have a better idea that doesn't involve getting yourself killed again or turned into stone then please share it with us." Pete knew that when someone died in Colligo they had a tendency to come back a few days later, but watching Ed die once was more than enough for him and without Lucy's cordial he wasn't too keen on going out half cocked; he'd certainly learned from his mistakes from the last time they'd been in Narnia.

Not to mention, if they stayed inside then there was less chance they'd run into Aslan, unless the lion decided to pop up in his flat. He didn't know why Aslan was disappointed in him considering he was doing what he'd been told to do. He was growing up.

As Max watched the two brothers, she was not only reminded of Fang and Iggy, but she found herself wishing that Iggy and Gazzy were there because chances were they'd figure out a way to turn Peter's alarm clock into a bomb and blow the witch to tiny pieces like they had to the Erasers when they'd first found them, which felt like ages ago, "So how hard is she to kill exactly?"

Ed scowled at Pete, then looked round at Max. "She's... We've never killed her before. The first time we fought her, I only managed to destroy her staff. It was Aslan who killed her. And the second time she appeared, she wasn't properly there anyway. She was trying to come back, but we managed to stop her in time."

He got to his feet after that. "Sorry, but I'm starving. I'm just going to get something to eat," he told the other two, then headed for the kitchen. He paused in the doorway, though, and looked round at Pete. "Didn't you say you'd seen Aslan? We could find him and ask him to deal with Jadis. All we have to do is go looking for him. Granted, neither of us are Lu, but I'm sure he'd help us." He grinned when he was finished speaking, and went into the kitchen.

His grin soon faltered, though, when he checked the cupboards and found that the only food available was Turkish Delight. "Pete... can you come in here, please?"

"And Aslan is the lion, right" Ed might not have mentioned Jadis when he told her about Narnia, not that she could blame him, but he had told her a lot about the various animals and creatures there; including Aslan.

Crossing his arms over his chest, Peter nodded and watched as Ed got up, "That's easier said than done. He could be anywhere and what happens if we run into Jadis first?" Pete didn't want to admit that he was afraid of running into Aslan even though he had no idea what the Lion could be disappointed at him for. After all, Aslan had forgiven Ed when he'd betrayed them and forgiven Pete for rushing into battle against the Talmarines. So what was it?

When Ed called him from the kitchen, he sighed and glanced at Max, "Excuse me. Ed, you should know where everything is by...bloody hell." Pete stopped in the doorway, staring into the kitchen where Ed was near an open cabinet, which contained tins of Turkish Delight.
