Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Tell a Friend!  Next Entry
Entry tags:castiel, castiel (end!verse), parker

Who: Castiel, Cas, and possibly Parker.
What: Paying himself a visit and laying things out.
Where: Cas' room
When: August 21st; late morning
Rating: High

For purposes of proving his points to Dean and a few of the others, Castiel decided tha tmaking an example of someone would do some good. And who better to use then himself? It seemed like a good decision and also a wise one, considering he didn't think two of them in one place was fufilling a grander purpose that helped or hindered either of them.

So he would rid of his existence - simple as that. It wouldn't be a hard thing to do for the higher being.

He didn't bother to appear at their front door or knock, finding the element of surprise to be a handy one. Instead, Castiel appeared in his alternate self's room with nothing more then a very hushed flutter and a slight upturn of his lips in amusement. He knew much would come of this encounter and almost welcomed it all, wanted people to see what he could do. Maybe even prove that his boundaries weren't as strong as some people seemed to think. No matter what he'd heard and the warnings he'd gotten; fear, he found, was his best ally and would never fail him like humans or angels would.

"And who are you to decide who can and can not talk to her?" he asked, a glare in Cas' general direction. "Who are you to decide that for anyone?" Castiel was generally curious about this for a second before going on to say, "Your existence in general is one that could be questioned."

He looked off to the side, focusing his attention on the floor before dim blue eyes focused on his other self again. This was one of the things he'd planned on doing and now... No remorse could be felt in the slightest as he raised his hand, ready to snap at any given moment and looking all too much like his elder brothers who used the same method to kill him in the past.

"So we shall rid of this questionable existance."

Cas just stared at his other self. He knew he was dead, he had no illusions of otherwise. He could try to leave, but it wouldn't do any good. All that would accomplish was putting Parker in more danger than she was in already. There was every chance Castiel just wanted to get rid of him, that nothing would happen to her, and he wouldn't risk her if he didn't have to. Perhaps it was selfish, and it was certainly unfair, but he knew there was nowhere he could go that Castiel wouldn't find them. At least this way he could have some hope that she would survive.

He'd faced death once, knowing he was going to die and unafraid. This time though, he had things to live for. He had people he didn't want to leave. If it hadn't been for the thoughts he'd just had, he would have tried his damnedest to get away. But the fact was he did have people to live for. And because of that, he was willing to die to keep them safe.

"Parker," he said, far too calm, focusing on her instead of Castiel, "you should know that I..." He trailed off. He couldn't say it now. But maybe it was the only time he could say it. "I...you know." Or maybe he couldn't. He hated leaving it unsaid, but he didn't want her associating that sentiment with his death.

No. This couldn't be happening. Parker couldn't believe what she was seeing, what Castiel was saying, what he was about to do. She immediately stepped closer to Cas, her mind scrambling for a way to talk the other angel out of going through with this.

"No!" she all but shrieked. "You can't... please!" Her hand slid down to Cas', grasping it tightly. "Don't say it," she all but begged, voice wavering as her vision became blurred with tears. "Don't say it because you're going to be fine, Cas. You will. This is just-"

And she stopped, knowing she was babbling and that there was no stopping what was going to come. So much time she'd spent convinced she was the one who was going to leave him and this was how it was going to end. Because couldn't come back, could he? Not until someone killed Castiel, at least, and how did you kill a being as powerful as God? It was impossible. It couldn't be done. Which meant Cas wasn't coming back. Not now, not ever. This was it.

"Me too," she sighed softly, doing her best to keep the tears from falling. "I... you know... too."

Their little exchange had to effect on Castiel as it probably should. The thought of not following through hadn't even crossed his mind. He saw no reason not to and thought all this to be right.

Fingers snapped without waiting for them to move away from one another and the sight was a gruesome one. Cas exploded quickly, much like a water balloon, with bits and pieces and blood splattering the room. Castiel seemed to be unphased by this and looked pleased with this sight.

He studied Parker with a headtilt, not about to clean up the mess he made. He thought of it as her own small punishment for housing his other self. Let her clean the debris. "And now things are set right." The smirk was wiped clean from his face and without another another word uttered, he disappeared.
