Rose had never been happier to see someone arrive when she noticed Jack was here. She barely even wanted to give him the option to say no to her, she was already shoving her trainers on when she started talking to him. She wanted to see him as soon as she could and when he offered to sit and listen, she jumped at the chance. She usually talked to Sirius about everything but he probably needed a break from it all before he exploded. Grabbing her bag, she headed out of the TARDIS, shouting a quick goodbye to the Doctor just in case he was in there. Not that she would know, she barely saw him anymore and she wouldn't be surprised if he didn't notice if she just stayed in the house they had. The house he barely went into.

Running from the TARDIS, she just enjoyed the moment of freedom that running gave and soon she noticed that she was near the library. It didn't take her long to spot Jack and she didn't even stop running. She just kept going until her arms were flung around him and she lifted her legs, clinging on tightly.

"God I'm happy to see you."

Rose burst out laughing at that, only just avoiding spilling alcohol all down her. So this had to be one of her best ideas ever, going to Jack for a few hours to get over her problems. It helped. It really, really did.

"Thank you," she said fondly after she managed to stop her giggles. Dropping her head to his shoulder, she nuzzled at him a little. "Thank you for this."

	Getting Rose to laugh like that was definitely the best thing that had happened here. He'd hold on to that, and hope that damn Collector brought Ianto soon. In the meantime, making Rose feel better was fantastic. "You're welcome, Rose." He smiled and rested his head in her hair, then nearly (manfully!) giggled himself. "Still coloring your hair?" 	"Shut up," she muttered when he commented on her hair. "It's blonde underneath all this just not blonde enough." It was true. She had been blonde as a child and then it had slowly become darker as she grew up. A more dirty blonde than the light blonde she made it. She just preferred it like this. 	"It's true! Would I lie?" Of course he would, but he was telling the truth. He moved his arm off her shoulders and combed his fingers through his hair, trying to separate it in the general area where he knew he had a grey hair. 	"Yes you would," she said straight away before shrugging. It didn't bother her, not at the moment anyway. Usually it did annoy her that he lied to her as well as the Doctor pretty constantly. "Nooo! What'll I do? Dye my hair? Get more beauty rest? Rose, your mum did hair, you gotta know a few tricks."

He laughed as she mussed his hair and reached over to scrub his hand over her hair. See how she liked that with so much more hair than him!

"Bahhhh... c'mooon, better drag you home while we're still mobile."

[I figure with the new missing Doctor development, best wrap this thread up since they'll have that issue to deal with! Poor Rose :( ]

	"I do but I think I'll let you suffer." She protested as he ran his hand against her hair, batting him away and just about fell from the chair in the process.
