Melinda had woken up in her old apartment a couple days ago. She was wondering where she was until she heard from her husband when they had just met 13 years ago. Had she been transported into the past or what was going on? She had no idea, but she wanted to see Peter, she wanted to tell him face to face that she was so sorry about their argument. Melinda wanted to have kids of her own when her biological clock was ticking, so when she had brought it up again they had a huge fight about what would have happened if any of them got sent back. After a night of sleeping on the couch because she didn't want to sleep next to him, she now wanted to see him.

Remembering everything in her apartment from when she had lived their. All her parties and having guests over all the time. Maybe this was a way of saying that her and Peter needed a break from each other. She did after all have sometime to think when she was talking to Peter when he was still a teenager. It was kind of awkward, but she was glad that she didn't say anything about their future just in case that it would have gotten changed or something.

Missing Peter she finally decided that whether he was 16 or if he had changed into what he looked like when they were married she wanted to find him, to see him. Feeling just terrible that they were fighting over the stupidest things. Going outside she started looking around, maybe she would find him at the park where they first met those 13 years ago.

The last thing Peter has expected as he'd walked through the park was to suddenly find his arms full of the exact person he'd been looking for the day before. However, that in no way stopped him from wrapping his arms around her waist and kissing her back. "Mel, thank Aslan." Having his wife in his arms after a day and a half of not speaking to her made Peter realize just how idiotic their argument had been, "I was afraid you weren't here. Ed and I looked for you yesterday." Peter made no move to let go of his wife for fear that if he did she might vanish; and in Colligo that was entirely possible.

Never wanting to let go of him she unlocked her lips from his and just looked into his eyes and smiled. "I'm just so glad that its you. The last time I talked to you, well, you weren't you, sort of. God this is really confusing." She started to laugh at that very moment. "Yeah I really didn't want to go out just in case that I ran into your younger self. But I'm here, I'm not going anywhere." She meant that too, she would never want to ask to be taken away. Finally getting to love this place, she had the perfect job, and the perfect man in her life.

"My younger self? Oh, you've been here longer than me haven't you?" Peter could only imagine what his sixteen year old self must have thought at seeing an older Melinda and finding out they were married. No, in fact he knew exactly what he must have thought because at that point in Peter's life girls had never been a big part; atleast not when he was a teenager. Finding out that he was married to the first girl he'd developed a crush on in Colligo had probably overwhelmed him quite a bit, "Come on, let's walk." He said after a moment and finally released Melinda to lace their fingers together.

"Well, when I woke up I saw that I was alone in my old apartment bedroom. I had to see if you were here. And your sixteen year old self answered. It was kind of awkward. Don't worry I didn't say anything because I didn't want to confuse your younger self." She knew not to give too much away for the future, her parents taught her that lesson many many years ago. She wanted so badly to call or at least message her father and brother, did they change? Were they from the future here as well? She would just have to find out later. "I'd like that." Intertwining her fingers with his she looked up at him. "So is everyone from your family that is here from this time as well? Or are they the same?"

Peter chuckled softly as they began walking, "I can only imagine what my sixteen year old self was thinking when you told him we were married. If I remember correctly we'd really only just met in person around now, hadn't we?" They had talked on the Network for awhile before that first meeting when they'd gone ice skating. "Knowing myself though, I doubt he will tell your younger self when this is all over so as not to scare you off." He smirked over at Melinda and squeezed her hand lightly, "Don't want you thinking you've got a stalker on your hands of course."

"I guess its a good thing that I didn't tell your younger self. Although I'm pretty sure that he himself figured it out which is a good and bad thing. I try not to tell people about the future but when a future self runs into a younger version of a loved one, then I guess things can get told." She smiled and turned to him as they were walking "That is correct. Well, I mean we've talked a few times but Ice Skating was our first meeting. I fell on my butt like five times, I remember I couldn't sit down for the longest time because my butt was bruised." She started laughing. "That's a good thing then, I mean my younger self would probably ask questions but she wouldn't get scared off, I've seen a lot of crazy things in my life, especially in my younger years." She looked back at him, "But it would be nice if it was kept a secret." She sighed as they walked, "So what shall we do today?"

"I do feel bad for my younger self though. I mean, I ruled over another land for fifteen years, but never married in Narnia, so you can guess how much experience I had with girls at sixteen," Peter smirked, not at all embaressed now at the lack of experience he'd had then, "And then to find out that I wind up marrying the first girl I really had feelings for is going to make him a nervous wreck. Ed will tease me for sure." He had no doubt that his younger brother was going to tease him about Melinda when this was all over and they were in their normal times again and their normal ages.
