WHO: Jeremy Gilbert & Bonnie Bennett
WHAT: Figuring out where their relationship is with a little help from the helpful evil mistletoe
WHEN: Thursday, July 21st. Late Afternoon
WHERE: Elena & Bonnie's apartment
RATING: TBD
STATUS: In Progress

Walking down the street, Jeremy shoved his hands into the pockets of his hoodie, wishing he had a jacket, as he headed towards Elena's. He had just left the video store and had decided to see what his sister was up to, considering he hadn't seen her for almost three weeks now. Part of him knew that he should probably call or text her to see if she was home, but he'd never had to do either of those things before when he'd wanted to see her and despite living in different places, old habits died hard.

After a few days of the continued snow and cold, Jeremy had almost thought he was going crazy when he'd gone into work that morning to find Christmas decorations on the other stores that surrounded it and Christmas music playing in the store. If he didn't know that it was still July, Jeremy would have been completely convinced that it was December, but knowing it was July made this all the more stranger. Then again was it really any stranger than not being able to see anyone from his reality for two weeks? Yeah, it really wasn't.

Reaching his sister's building, Jeremy headed up to the designated floor then to her room that she shared with Bonnie. It was still driving Jeremy crazy, not knowing where his and Bonnie's relationship was at the moment, but he vowed that if she were around this time, he was going to talk to her first and then maybe the three of them could hang out after. Reaching the apartment, Jeremy knocked on the door; unbeknownst to him that he had picked up a hitchhiker in the form of a mistletoe on his way over, which was now hidden under the hood of his sweatshirt.

Bonnie hadn't really been expecting anyone, but she knew enough people in the city that it wasn't a complete shock to have someone show up at their door. Now that she had Elena around it was much less creepy as well - or not around, but visible again. She put down the book on magic she'd borrowed from one of the other witches and went to open the door. And stopped short, her face seeming to shutter any emotions but a pleasant smile.

"Jeremy! Hey. Hi. Um, what are you doing here?" Wow, she sounded like a complete idiot. But she'd spent a long time here making herself get over Jeremy, since he was with Anna - but this version of him didn't seem to have hooked back up with the vampire girl. It was confusing and made her unsure of herself, and that was a state that Bonnie positively hated. "Uh, come in. Do you want something to drink?" And now she sounded like someone's mom. Even better.

As Bonnie opened the door, Jeremy couldn't control the smile that spread across his lips at the sight of the other girl. It felt like forever since he'd last seen her and he wanted to grab her and kiss her right then and there and it took all his willpower not to. He still didn't know where they stood and he didn't want to do something stupid and chance losing her. And Jeremy Gilbert was very familar with doing stupid things, "Hi, Bonnie. I came by to see Elena." Right, because that would make Bonnie feel wanted, "I mean both of you. If you were here." Jeremy mentaly facepalmed, wishing he was just a tiny bit more suave.

He shook his head as he stepped into the apartment, turning to face Bonnie once he'd cleared the door, "No, I'm fine. So, how're you?" He brushed a hand through his hair, dislodging any snow that hadn't already melted after entering the building and shoved both hands into his pockets.
