With the bone-crushing hug, Loki sucked in a breath and braced himself. While it had been sometime since Thor had shown such affection, the reflexes were not lost to Loki. He shut his eyes for a moment, forcing himself not to break into a smile. No, he was supposed to be indignant and cold towards his brother, not enjoying the fact that they had been reunited without the cold gaze of Thor's friends and their father. The All-Father.
He went to speak but ended up shutting his eyes again and bracing himself for another hug. His eyes flicked upwards as he let out an inward sigh, reaching up and giving his brother a firm pat on the back. He allowed himself to show some manner of affection, even if it was small, he knew it wouldn't be lost on his brother. Thor knew him far too well... and yet, Thor didn't know him at all it seemed.
"By "we", you mean just you." Loki muttered and pulled back enough to look at the blond man. "You've no reason to hide the distaste that Asgard holds for me. We both know it to be as plain as day."
