WHO: Carmine "Red" Zuigiber and Rose Tyler
WHAT: A typical night in a bar for the Horsewoman.
WHEN: Last night, about 10pm.
WHERE: A local-run bar in the city.
RATING: PGish (to be safe)
STATUS: Incomplete/Open

It wasn't that different from before, really, Carmine "Red" Zuigiber thought to herself. She was sat at a bar stool, one long leg crossed over the other, chin propped in one hand. She lifted the cocktail to her lips and took a sip, red tongue sweeping out to catch a drop that lingered on her bottom lip. Of course, it was annoying. She'd spent so long waiting for the end of days, the apocalypse, whatever you wanted to call it, and then He had decided just not to bother. After starting everything up! It was like someone powering up a space shuttle for a jaunt to Mars and then deciding they'd rather just nip to the cinema. Only instead of a journey across space, it was Armageddon, which was a lot harder to derail.

And then as soon as she'd managed to recover from being zapped (which shouldn't have taken as long as it had, but she'd been embarrassed), she'd been here. In this rubbish little toy box of human history. If she hadn't been all too aware of the 'rules', she'd have torn this place down by now to show how upset she was about the whole business. Or, at least, she would have twisted their minds so they tore it down for her. And possibly brought her a decent drink, because this one tasted like Ribena.

Red watched lazily as a man tried to crack his friends skull with a pool cue, placing the drink back down on the coaster in front of her. A bouncer arrived to try and drag the brawl away, but quickly got drawn in and there was a nasty crack and crunch as the pool table broke under the weight of the wrestling group. A yellow billiard ball rolled slowly across the floor to bump softly against the leg of Red's chair, and the swearing group seemed to decide there wasn't enough room to have a proper fight in here and charged out the door to take over the street instead. Red sighed, uncrossed her legs, and reached for her drink again, ignoring the person who had just nipped inside.

"All right."

Rose took another sip of her drink, eyes on the wall behind the bar. She wasn't going to ignore Red but she wasn't entirely fussed about making small talk. She hadn't come here to make small talk. But when she began to question the two years. A lot had happened in that space of time but not a lot of it Rose liked to think of. Besides, after so many things happening they all began to blend together.

"Don't have the option. There's others that have been here longer than I have. If we could get away, if it was our choice, we'd have all left."
