WHO: Lexi Branson and Rose
WHAT: There are Werewolves on the loose, Lexi and Rose stay in.
WHEN: Thursday Night, June 16th
WHERE: Rose's apartment

After recieving Rose's text, it only took Lexi a second to reply and start packing a bag. She knew that Rose had died of a Werewolf bite back home and that the Werewolf who had bit her was one of the ones who had gotten loose, so leaving Rose alone was out of the question. Slinging a messanger bag over her shoulder, Lexi left and headed to Rose's apartment, which with her enhanced speed, only took a few minutes. There were definate perks to being a vampire sometimes.

Reaching Rose's apartment, Lexi knocked on the door and waited. Despite running faster than the human eye could catch, Lexi had been fully aware of her surroundings and kept her senses open for any sign of Werewolves the entire way. She was relieved that she hadn't caught a whiff on the way to or near Rose's place.

Before Lexi had arrived Rose had already started in on her whole plan of drinking however long this werewolf invasion was going to be. Despite being a coolheaded person naturally this place was beginning to wear on her. Explosions, hell gods, and now werewolves? She had spent the past five hundred years running from Klaus and somehow had still felt safer back home. The fact that it was not just werewolves but the one who had bitten her? It was simply the final nail in the coffin, so to say.

Opening the door she smiled. "Lexi! Come in, come in." she ushered her friend in, quickly looking out the door to make sure no one had followed her.

Dropping her bag on the floor, Lexi pulled Rose into the apartment and closed the door, wrapping her arms around her friend in a tight hug, "No Weres followed me. I promise." She couldn't imagine what Rose must be going through at the moment. Sure, the person who had killed her was in Colligo, but unlike the Werewolves, Damon had control over the things he did and she truly believed that he was sorry for having killed her; after all, if she didn't, she would have kicked his ass already.

After a moment or two, Lexi loosened her grasp on the other vampire and pulled back, giving her, what she hoped was a reassuring smile, "So, we're going to watch the cheesiest movies we can find tonight and I'm not taking no for an answer."

The hug was slightly unexpected, but eternally appreciated. Once she was sure the door was closed her arms wrapped around the other woman and held on tight for a moment. It was grounding to be able to. For so many centuries whenever she had felt like this, whenever Elijah may be getting too close, she had Trevor to lean on. This place had yet to have the courtesy to capture him as well but at least it was nice to know for a moment that she at least had Lexi.

Rose attempted to smile back at her but could not stop herself from checking the door, pulling away and fiddling with the lock to make sure that it was locked and there was at least that barrier to keep those beasts from trying to knock down her door. "I'm not sure I have that many." she admitted, looking up from the door.

"There wasn't much time to plan, really." she sighed, straightening up an allowing herself a bitter little laugh. "I'd honestly thought I was finished hiding but this place. If it's not one thing it's another."

Lexi watched as Rose double checked the locks after breaking the hug, "That's what cable is for, Rose. There's always something on. Or nothing on. Depends on how you look at it really." She never did understand why people always said, 'Over a hundred channels and nothing's on', because there was always something on, it just depended on what people were looking for.

"You won't have to hide forever, Rose. This thing with the Weres will get sorted out soon." Of course once that happened the question was, what was next? And would Caroline be ok? Lexi knew that people tended to come back from the dead in Colligo, but if Caroline died would she come back? "Why don't we get our drink on so we can try and forget about everything going on outside this apartment."

"I won't? But I've gotten so very good at it. Well. Up until the end. Oh Trevor." Rose sighed, shaking her head. She tried not to think about her friend, the man who might as well have been her brother, here. It was all just too much to deal with on top of everything else.

Nodding, Rose made her way further into the apartment, heading to the kitchen to pour them both something to drink. At least alcohol dulled something. God, she was almost six hundred years old and she was terrified of a werewolf? "Forgetting sounds lovely. In fact it sounds just like what I want to do."
