WHO: Bo Hess, Peter Petrelli, open to Chris Halliwell
WHAT: Spending some time together. Possibly dog-shopping if Bo gets her way.
WHEN: Afternoon
WHERE: Their apartment → ??
RATING: TBD (doubt it'll be too high)
STATUS: In Progress
WARNINGS: So much fluff it'll probably make your teeth hurt.

Bo knew there were Very Bad Things going on in the city of Colligo. She also knew, courtesy of her dreams, that they were only going to get worse before they got better. In fact, part of the reason she had asked Mister Morpheus for at least one night of peaceful sleep was because it seemed like every time she closed her eyes that someone else was getting hurt or worse. And while Bo wanted very much to warn those she'd seen, she knew it was pointless. Most of them wouldn't believe her anyway and, out of those who did, there wasn't a single one who could stop it from happening.

However, she was trying not to think about that today. Today she just wanted to have fun and try not to think about all of the bad things happening. So after spending a couple of hours following lunch in her room, drawing and coloring, she decided to seek out Peter - and Chris, if he wasn't busy - to see if they could do something. She had at least one idea in mind and hoped she could convince them to take her to do it. If not, though, she would settle for just about anything else as long as it involved getting out of the apartment for a little while.

Making her way into the living room, she smiled at Peter and made sure whatever he was watching on television was on a commercial before she spoke. When she did, her voice as quiet and her tone a little hesitant, but there was very much a hopeful look upon her face. The very same hopeful look, in fact, that she had learned to make at her daddy and uncle whenever she really wanted something but knew pushing too hard for it would only make them say no. It was also a look that her brother had taught her and one that had yet to steer her wrong as long as she didn't use it too much. She hadn't used it on Peter or Chris in a while so she figured giving it a go now wouldn't hurt.

"Can we go look at puppies?"

Bo's smile grew when Peter agreed, excitement causing her to bounce a bit in place in a silent victory dance. She was getting a puppy! All other thoughts and worries, from the scary dreams of the mean lady to any chance of her not getting her new pet, fled as she all but ran to Peter and threw her arms around him. "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" she exclaimed giddily, kissing him on the cheek before pulling away and dancing a little more in place.

"Can we go now?" she asked after a second, turning back to face him. "Please? Right now? Right now now?!" She wasn't sure why he would say no, unless he wanted to wait for Chris, or thought it would be best to go in the morning, or, worst of all, wanted to talk about it some more. Personally Bo didn't understand why grown-ups always wanted to talk about things so much. Sometimes it was best to just do something and, when it came to getting a dog and all the things that came with it, it was of her opinion that she had to show them she could take care of animal instead of just telling them again and again and again.

Still, if Peter wanted to talk about it, Bo wouldn't throw too much of a fit. Sure the look of hopeful anticipation would fade a bit but she knew that he'd said she could get a puppy and he wasn't going to just change his mind. He wasn't like her daddy back home. He didn't get sad all the time for no reason and didn't say mean things when he didn't mean to. He looked tired more than her daddy, and he was even quieter sometimes - though Bo wasn't sure how that was even possible - but Peter was definitely not going to just change his mind about her getting a puppy. She was absolutely sure of it.

Even if she couldn't help but stick her hand behind her back and cross her fingers. Just to be on the safe side.
