Ygraine was not happy about being here, far from it actually. Things were difficult enough without being taken from home and placed somewhere where she knew no one. She had heard Uther was here, but she had yet to hear from him. Her two daughters were slightly more grown up, a lot more in Morgana's case, and Morgana had explained that she was from a world where she was not her daughter. Something she was still trying to come to terms with and was partly why she had excused herself for a walk.

The other reason was what Merlin had told her.

He may not be the Merlin she was friendly with, but he was still Merlin and she trusted him. he had helped her a lot; advice and sneaking around. And sneaking around was the reason she had to see him, something Merlin had to confirm so she was no longer worrying with speculation. She was going to have another baby, a fourth, only not to her husband. A baby that belonged to her King, the man she had been seeing, sleeping with without her husband's knowledge. She just had to hope this baby had little resemblance to Uther so her secret was not revealed.

Sighing softly, she found herself near a lake and she let herself collapse onto a seat. She had to think more, about her situation both at home at here. How had she let it come to this? She should have just refused Uther, but how can a woman refuse her King? Though if her husband was to die, as Merlin said, perhaps her time with Uther was no where near finished.
