Who: Rose and Sirius
Where: A coffee place near the park.
When: Morning, 24th March. After this.
What: Rose has Sirius' magic. Sirius does not approve of this development.
Rating/Status: Highish for swearing. Incomplete.

Sirius knew he was being stupid. Chances were he'd have his magic back in a couple of weeks at the most, and until then all he had to do was not set himself on fire, electrocute himself or get run over, and everything should be fine. But that didn't make it any better. The walk hadn't done much to cool him off, because he shouldn't have to bloody walk anywhere if he didn't want to. He could have taken his bike - when muggles touched it, the machine appeared perfectly normal, after all, so he could have ridden it at a normal speed with no chance of barrelling off into the sky. But the idea of that was so depressing he didn't think he could face it.

He arrived before Rose, buying their usual drinks from their usual shop and slumping down an outside table outside to wait for her. For the time of year, the weather was quite nice. It was sunny, and although there was a nip in the air, it was pleasant enough to be outside without a coat. Sirius sat and waited, chewing on his lip, one knee jiggling as he waited for his blonde friend to appear. He didn't like this. Not at all. Not one tiny, teeny bit. It was hard to describe, but he felt... weird. Really, really crap. Was this what Reg and Remus had felt like when they'd come back?

Sirius was pulled from his thoughts when he recognized the blonde suddenly standing close by, automatically clambering to his feet as she joined him. She didn't look any different, but he couldn't help staring at her cautiously, before pulling himself together and instead glancing at her hand. If he could just see his wand, he thought he might feel better. "Alright?"

Sirius should have seen that coming. He knew Rose well enough to know she was completely barmy when it came to stuff like this, was a bit like him in that she'd go to any lengths to protect people. She was probably better than him, actually, because she didn't even know Remus all that well. And he appreciated the offer, he really did. But still. Sirius gave Rose a scathing look, eyebrows raised for long, silent moment before he allowed a slightly bitter smirk to curl at one corner of his mouth.

"Yeah," he replied, his voice painfully sarcastic. "Excellent. Then I can have a mental breakdown from the stress of worrying about both of you." He reached for his coffee, taking a much needed sip and placing it back down on the table between them. "I mean, thanks and everything. It's good of you. But there's no fucking way that's happening. Anyway," he shrugged, trying to make it look effortless. "You have an alien with heart withdrawal to look after."

"You don't have to worry about me, I've been in worse situations."

She had been. Being in a room with a werewolf, or at least guarding it to keep it from getting free, was hardly anything. Plus she had been in the presence of a werewolf before and survived to tell the tale.

Well she nearly didn't but that was another mater and she wasn't really going to tell him.

"So you'd rather he was alone? Sirius I'd be fine, and I'm sure the Doctor can last a little while without me."
