Who: Rose. Jack. Sirius (Posting order?:D)
What: Pub time?
When: 1st March until laaaate
Where: Everywhere? Who knows
Rating/Warnings: High. Trust me. These conversations can only get bad.
Status: Incomplete

Rose was happier than she had been a lot recently. She had the Doctor back and now she was going out for a drink with two of her favourite men in the universe and knew this could only end one way. In disaster. But a very fun, and incredible disaster. Pulling on Sirius' hand, she laughed as she dragged him into the pub and instantly started looking for Jack. She was far too excited, she was practically bouncing on the balls of her feet. She probably shouldn't, given the low cut nature of her dress, but she didn't care.

At least not now. And she didn't think she'd care once she got a few drinks down her throat.

Her eyes scanned the pub once more, frowning when she still couldn't find him. But when she saw Jack amongst the crowd, she let go of Sirius and headed straight for him. She didn't even wait before flinging herself at Jack and holding him tightly.

"Hello Captain," she said by his ear as her hold got tighter, lifting herself up. "God I've missed you."

The moment Rose had asked him to head out for a drink, Jack had done the stupid thing and agreed to it. In other words, he got to postpone that certain conversation he was going to have to have with Ianto about dismemberment. Hell, if Jack could, he would have put it off for as long as bloody humanly possible.

So what did Jack Harkness do when he was suddenly faced with a situation that was both emotional and uncomfortable? He ran. Like always.

Thus, Jack reversed directions before he could even get back to the apartment and face a, most likely, annoyed lover. Yes, Jack was aware that he was going to be even more annoyed once he finally got back, but maybe Jack could figure out a way to run away and go elsewhere.

Vicious cycle, that.

He already had a drink in his hand (water, though) while he waited for Rose and this Sirius bloke. Suddenly, then, arms were around his neck and Jack just grinned. "Hey, love," Jack said, stealing a quick kiss. "I've missed you too."

It took some time for Jack to let Rose go and, even when he did, one arm remained around the woman's waist while he held his hand out to Sirius. "The one and only," he replied with a smirk. "You must be Sirius."

She didn't care about the gentle kiss he gave her, actually responded and let him. She knew he meant nothing by it and the Doctor would also know it meant nothing. It was just what Jack was like and they were all aware of that. A kiss to him was a simple greeting, a normal way of saying hello to someone you care about. It wasn't anything to do with any sort of romantinc feelings. Just simply friendly.

Her own arm stayed around him as he held her, her head resting gently against him. She hadn't lied when she said she missed him. He was the type of man you noticed weren't allowed and it felt strange. His presence really was needed as often as possible. She watched the men with interest, curious about how they would take to each other. However there was the fact that both men were extremely flirtatious so that was a relief. As long as they didn't go ahead and chat without her she would be happy.

"'The one and only'? Your ego never changes, does it Jack? Much like Sirius."

At least this meeting could only really end well.

The wizard nodded and shook the other mans hand, giving him a quick look up and down as they stood together at one side of the slightly gloomy pub. Then Rose was talking and Sirius feigned a look of insult, before hoisting one arched eyebrow. "My ego's been severely damaged since I met you, Tyler. What with your favourite hobby of chipping bits off of it."

Not that it was in any way true. Sirius' ego was like a pheonix - knock it down and it'd rise again twice as strong. It was one of the things that was so infuriating about him. Sirius swept long dark hair out of his eyes and nodded towards the crowded bar. "Shall we? They're on me."

He turned, loping off through the mass of bodies to lean over the bar and wave down a barmaid. He'd had a hell of a weekend, after all. He deserved a drink. Sirius ordered himself a pint then glanced back over his shoulder, seeking out to the other two and waiting for them to place orders as he reached back for his wallet. "Come on, children." He looked up with a crooked smirk. "There are drunk people waiting."

With Rose in his arms like this, Jack knew there was nothing in the world that could bother him. Well, there was something but Jack was conveniently forgetting that point, wasn't he? And, well, he was just going to keep on ignoring that point -- and quite possibly get pissed. It had been a while since Jack actually had been out to drink with anyone come to think of it.

Sure, he knew he could still drink anyone under the table thanks to his metabolism, but he never drank much back in Cardiff -- not when the world could end at any minute.

"You know she likes you when she starts chipping away bits of your ego," Jack replied with a chuckle. "Which, well, come to think of it. You must hate me since you've never tried chipping away at mine! I think I'm insulted Rose Tyler."

Keeping Rose near him, Jack wound his way toward Sirius. "The man is buying? Well I'll take advantage of it. But, Sirius, if you're trying to get into my knickers you might have to beat Rose down first. And a couple others as well." Briefly, Jack wondered if he'd have to fight off Ianto. No, he wasn't going down that road. "Jack and coke." He grinned. "Have to go for my namesake, don't I?"

"Because you smile at me and any insult leaves my head. You have the fact that you can turn the charm on a lot better than Sirius can."

She smiled as Jack led her toward Sirius, keeping her arm around his body the entire time. And it wasn't just to make sure they didn't get seperated. She really had missed him, he had meant a lot to her and to have him finally back in her arms was something she wasn't willing to let happen only quickly. She wasn't going to stop until she had to. At his mention of getting into his knickers, she laughed and cheekily slapped a hand against his bum.

"Behave. Unless you want the wrath of a Time Lord on you." Not that she thought he was being serious. "Besides, I'm sure you can't outdo him, Captain."

Sirius treated Jack to his best infamously charming smile. "You underestimate my persistance." Then he turned back and ordered the drinks for the other two. If it had been a few months ago, he might have taken Jack up on that challenge, but he had Remus to go home to these days - something he was still getting used to. It didn't mean he couldn't still be a terrible flirt, though, something that Sirius proved only too well when he leaned over the bar to speak to the brunette barmaid who was sliding drinks towards him.

A moment later he had paid and pulled back, passing a Jack and coke to Jack and a vodka and coke to Rose. Easing his way out of the crowd around the bar, Sirius took a sip of his pint and nodded towards a corner table that had just been vacated. "Let's sit."

"So, Jack." The animagus grinned and slid into one of the chairs, dark eyes fixed curiously on the other man. He had a question, quite a reasonable one, he thought, when it came to Rose's friends. And he charged into it with all his usual tact. "Are you an alien?"
